ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਸਵੇਰੇ 7 ਵਜੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਈ। 70 ਸੀਟਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵੇਰੇ 11 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ 20% ਵੋਟ ਪੈ ਚੁੱਕੀਆਂ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ, ਭਾਜਪਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਹੈ। ‘ਆਪ’ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਲੋਕ-ਕਲਿਆਣ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਤੀਜੀ ਵਾਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਮੁੜ ਉਭਾਰ ਲੱਭ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 1.56 ਕਰੋੜ ਵੋਟਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ 699 ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ। 13,766 ਪੋਲਿੰਗ ਬੂਥ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਸ਼ਾਮ 6 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ।
