Captain Sukhjeet Singh said that the team made a comeback after losing the first quarter and executed their strategy well. Coach Gurjant Singh also praised the team, stating that the players worked hard and used their techniques effectively. New Zealand put up a good fight but could not match India’s speed and strategy. This victory has given the Indian hockey team a strong chance to advance to the semi-finals of the Sultan Johor Cup, and they will now face Malaysia in their next match.
