Harmeet Singh Toor is a passionate radio presenter, community volunteer, and cultural enthusiast dedicated to bringing people together through media, language, and community engagement. Originally from Haryana, India, he is fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Haryanvi, allowing him to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Harmeet first arrived in Australia in 2007, beginning a journey of personal growth, learning, and meaningful community involvement. In 2015, he started his broadcasting journey with Radio Haanji, where he hosted his first on-air program, "Meri Diary Mere Alfaaj." The program was created to encourage emerging writers, lyricists, poets, and shayars by providing them with a platform to share their creativity and connect with the wider community.
Over the years, Harmeet has been involved in a variety of dramas, cultural programs, singer events, and community activities, contributing both behind the scenes and as a host. His passion for promoting Punjabi language, culture, and community spirit has enabled him to play an active role in celebrating and preserving cultural heritage while fostering meaningful connections among audiences.
Beyond broadcasting, Harmeet is an active member of a local football club, where he enjoys mentoring and supporting young players in their sporting journey. He believes in encouraging the next generation by helping them develop confidence, teamwork, discipline, and a positive outlook both on and off the field.
Community service has always been at the heart of Harmeet's work. Whether through radio, cultural events, or volunteer initiatives, he is driven by a genuine desire to give back, inspire others, and create opportunities that bring people together. He believes that true success is measured not only by personal achievements but by the positive impact one has on the lives of others and the communities they serve.
