Ajay Devgan's Raid 2 Releasing on 1 May 2025
Ajay Devgn reprises his role as IRS officer Amay Patnaik in Raid 2, a gripping sequel to the 2018 hit. This time, he targets a formidable adversary—corrupt politician Dada Bhai, portrayed by Riteish Deshmukh. The film is set to release on May 1, 2025, coinciding with International Labour Day and Maharashtra Day.
Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 delves into Patnaik's 75th raid, focusing on white-collar crime and political corruption. The ensemble cast includes Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, and Supriya Pathak. Special appearances by Jacqueline Fernandez and Yo Yo Honey Singh add star power, with Tamannaah Bhatia featuring in the dance number "Nasha," choreographed by Vijay Ganguly. The soundtrack boasts contributions from Amit Trivedi, Rochak Kohli, and Sachet–Parampara, among others. Filmed across Mumbai, Delhi, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, the movie promises a thrilling narrative of justice versus power.
