ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਡੋਨਾਲਡ ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਰਾਨ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਨਾਹ ਦੇਵੇ। ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਇਰਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਖ਼ਤਰਨਾਕ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦਾ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
