ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਡੋਨਾਲਡ ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਸਪੇਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਸਬੰਧ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਮੱਧ ਪੂਰਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਤਣਾਅ ਅਤੇ ਸਪੇਨ ਦੇ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਮਾਰਕੀਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਲਚਲ ਮਚ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਦਾ ਅਸਰ ਕਈ ਹੋਰ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਵੀ ਪੈ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਲਓ ਜੀ, ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਧਮਾਕਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ! ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਡੋਨਾਲਡ ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਸਪੇਨ ਵੱਲ ਆਪਣੀ 'ਟੇਢੀ ਅੱਖ' ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਮੱਧ ਪੂਰਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਅੱਗ ਲਾਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਟਰੰਪ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ— "ਨਾ ਵਪਾਰ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ, ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਿਆਂਗੇ!" ਦੇਖੋ ਜੀ, ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਨਿਭਾਉਣਾ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਕਲਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਅੱਜ-ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਗੁਆਂਢੀਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਨੇ। ਜੇ ਇੱਕ ਨੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਾ ਮੰਨੀ, ਤਾਂ ਬੱਸ 'ਬੋਲ-ਬੁਲਾਰਾ' ਬੰਦ! ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਸਪੇਨ ਨਾਲ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਸਬੰਧ ਤੋੜ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਸਪੇਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੋਚ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਕਿ "ਭਲਾ ਸਾਡਾ ਕੀ ਕਸੂਰ ਸੀ?" ਪਰ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ ਸਾਂਝ (emotional bonding) ਦੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ 'ਰਣਨੀਤਕ ਗੁੱਸਾ' ਲੈ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਅਸਰ ਆਮ ਜਨਤਾ 'ਤੇ ਪੈਣਾ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਰਗਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਹੱਥ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਖਿੱਚ ਲਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੌਣਕ ਘਟਣੀ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸਾਡੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਰਾ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਸਪੇਨ ਜਾਂ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਘਬਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ "ਜਿੱਥੇ ਚਾਹ, ਉੱਥੇ ਰਾਹ"।
ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪੈਸੇ ਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਹ ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਇੱਕ ਖੇਤਰ ਦਾ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਦੂਰ ਬੈਠੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਰੇੜਾਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਠੰਢਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀ ਕੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਜੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿੱਘ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਵਪਾਰ ਵਧੇਗਾ! ਟਰੰਪ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਸਮਝਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਵਪਾਰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਦਿਲ ਜੋੜਨਾ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਆਖਰਕਾਰ, ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਵਪਾਰ ਕਰੇ ਜਾਂ ਨਾ!
