ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਕਤਲ ਕਾਂਡ: ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਪਵਨ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਮਾਨਤ
ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਕਤਲ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦ ਦੋ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ, ਪਵਨ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਮਾਨਤ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਸੁਣਵਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਤੱਥਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਦ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਾਇਕ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਅਹਿਮ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਘਟਨਾਕ੍ਰਮ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸਰਵਉੱਚ ਅਦਾਲਤ, ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦ ਦੋ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਪਵਨ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਮਾਨਤ (bail) ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਕਤਲ ਦੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੂਟਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਲੱਗੇ ਸਨ।
ਸੁਣਵਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਨੋਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਸੁਣਵਾਈ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਮਾਂ ਲੱਗ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਸ਼ਰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮਾਨਤ ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਦਾ 29 ਮਈ, 2022 ਨੂੰ ਮਾਨਸਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਲਾਰੈਂਸ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਗੈਂਗ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਕਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
ਪਵਨ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ 'ਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਜਾਂ ਸ਼ੂਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਨਾਹ ਦੇਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਸੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਬਚਾਅ ਪੱਖ ਦੇ ਵਕੀਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਲੀਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕੋਈ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਸਬੂਤ ਪੇਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਨੇ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
A significant legal development has emerged in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. The Supreme Court of India has granted bail to two accused named in the case, Pawan Bishnoi and Jagtar Singh. Both were alleged to have been involved in the murder conspiracy and provided assistance to the shooters.
During the hearing, the court noted that the accused have been in custody for a considerable amount of time and that the trial of the case might take longer to conclude. Based on certain conditions, the court approved their bail application. It is pertinent to mention that Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead on May 29, 2022, in Mansa district, following which the police arrested several individuals linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Pawan Bishnoi and Jagtar Singh were accused of allegedly playing a role in supplying weapons or providing shelter to the shooters. However, defense lawyers argued in court that no direct evidence had been presented against them. This decision has caused disappointment among Moosewala's family and fans, who have been consistently demanding strict punishment for all those involved in the crime.
