ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਦੇ ਬਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ, ਅੰਸ਼ੁਲ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਐਲਾਨ
ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰ ਰਾਮ ਚੰਦਰ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅੰਸ਼ੁਲ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਨੇ ਡੇਰਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉੱਚ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਦਾ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ ਖੜਕਾਉਣਗੇ।
ਡੇਰਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਸੌਦਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰ ਰਾਮ ਚੰਦਰ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਕਤਲ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਅਗਲੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਦਾ ਬਿਗੁਲ ਵਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅੰਸ਼ੁਲ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਨੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਜਲਦ ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਪੀਲ ਦਾਇਰ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
ਅੰਸ਼ੁਲ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਨੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਪਿਛਲੇ 22 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਲਈ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਹੇਠਲੀ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਸਬੂਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਵਾਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਹੀ ਡੇਰਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਰੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਝਟਕਾ ਹੈ। ਅੰਸ਼ੁਲ ਨੇ ਦੁਹਰਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਈ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੀ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਲ 2002 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰ ਰਾਮ ਚੰਦਰ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਦਾ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਲੰਬੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਚੱਲੀ। ਸਾਲ 2019 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਚਕੂਲਾ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੀਬੀਆਈ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਉਮਰ ਕੈਦ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਸੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਸਬੂਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਦਾ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਇਸ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਉਮੀਦ ਜਤਾਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ
Following the acquittal of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh by the Punjab and Haryana High Court in the journalist Ram Chandra Chhatrapati murder case, the victim's family has announced their next legal move. Anshul Chhatrapati, the son of the slain journalist, has made it clear that they are not satisfied with the High Court's verdict and will soon file an appeal in the Supreme Court.
Speaking to the media, Anshul Chhatrapati stated that his family has been struggling for justice for the past 22 years. According to him, the lower court had convicted the Dera chief based on substantial evidence and witnesses, making the High Court's decision to acquit him a major shock for the family. Anshul reiterated that they will not give up and will approach the highest court of the country for the victory of truth.
It is worth noting that journalist Ram Chandra Chhatrapati was murdered in 2002, followed by a lengthy legal process. In 2019, a special CBI court in Panchkula sentenced Ram Rahim to life imprisonment in this case. However, in the recent judgment, the High Court overturned this sentence citing a lack of evidence. The Chhatrapati family remains hopeful that the Supreme Court will eventually provide them with justice.
