ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਸਮ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਮੰਧਾਨਾ ਦੇ 117 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀ ਗੌੜ ਦੀਆਂ 3 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਜੇ ਇੱਕ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ 102 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾਇਆ। ਇਸ ਜਿੱਤ ਨਾਲ ਤਿੰਨ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੜੀ 1-1 ਨਾਲ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਅਗਲਾ ਮੈਚ 20 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਯਾਦਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ, ਮੁੱਲਾਂਪੁਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਇੱਕ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਨੂੰ 102 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾ ਕੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਰਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸਲਾਮੀ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ ਸਮ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਮੰਧਾਨਾ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਵੱਡੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਦਿਵਾਈ। ਇਸ ਜਿੱਤ ਨਾਲ ਤਿੰਨ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੜੀ 1-1 ਨਾਲ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

293 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੀਚੇ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਨ ਉਤਰੀ ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਦਬਾਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਈ। ਰੇਣੂਕਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤੀ ਝਟਕੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀ ਗੌੜ ਨੇ 9.5 ਓਵਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 28 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੇ 3 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੀ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਦੀਪਤੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ 2 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ। ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਨਾਬੇਲ ਸਦਰਲੈਂਡ ਨੇ 45 ਅਤੇ ਐਲਿਸੇ ਪੈਰੀ ਨੇ 44 ਦੌੜਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਾ ਸਕੇ। ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ 40.5 ਓਵਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 190 ਦੌੜਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਸਿਮਟ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਆਸਟਰੇਲੀਆ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੌੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਿਹਾਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਹਾਰ ਸੀ।

Deepti Sharma contributed 40 runs off 53 balls, while Sneh Rana added 24 runs. For Australia, Darcie Brown took 3 wickets, and Ashleigh Gardner claimed 2 wickets.
Chasing a target of 293 runs, the Australia women’s cricket team came under pressure from the start. Renuka Singh Thakur delivered early blows, and Kranti Gaud took 3 wickets for 28 runs in 9.5 overs, dismantling Australia’s batting lineup. Deepti Sharma also picked up 2 wickets. Australia’s Annabel Sutherland scored 45 runs, and Ellyse Perry made 44, but they could not prevent their team’s collapse. Australia was bowled out for 190 runs in 40.5 overs, marking their heaviest defeat in terms of runs in ODI history.
The decisive third match of the women’s ODI series will be played on September 20 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, where both teams will compete fiercely to clinch the series.
