ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਦਮਦਮਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ

ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਤੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਦਮਦਮਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਂਡੇ ਮਾਂਜਣ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਦੇ ਗੁਥਲਖਣੇ ਸਾਫ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸੀ।

ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਲੋਂ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਸ਼ਰਤ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਗ ਕਰਕੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦਾ ਗਠਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਪਰ ਨਿਗਮ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਕਦਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ। ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੀ ਅਣਦੇਖੀ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁੱਧੀਜੀਵੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਜਤਾਈ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਰ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਚਰਚਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਹ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਛਵਿ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

As per Sikh traditions, Sukhbir Badal and other Akali Dal leaders fulfilled their penance assigned by Akal Takht Sahib by performing service at Takht Damdama Sahib. They were seen working as volunteers outside the Gurdwara, engaging in tasks such as washing utensils, serving the congregation, and cleaning the premises.

Akal Takht Sahib had also directed that the existing Akali Dal committee be dissolved and restructured, but after the announcement of municipal elections, no such step was taken by the party. This act of non-compliance with Akal Takht’s orders has drawn criticism.

In Chandigarh, intellectuals held a meeting to discuss the issue and expressed concern about the future of Akali Dal. Negative discussions about the party have resurfaced among the public, which might hinder Akali Dal’s efforts to regain its lost reputation.
