ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਨੇ 104 ਗ਼ੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ 30 ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਉਡਾਣ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ‘ਤੇ ਉਤਰੀ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਮੀਗਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਏਜੰਟਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ 30-40 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਗਏ ਸਨ। Radio Haanji ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਅਪਡੇਟਸ ਲਈ ਜੁੜੇ ਰਹੋ!
ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗ਼ੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਭੇਜਣ ਦੇ ਅਹਿਮ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਤਹਿਤ, 104 ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪਰਵਾਸੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 30 ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ, ਅੱਜ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ 'ਚ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਫੌਜੀ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਸੀ-17 ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਵਾਪਸ ਭੇਜੇ ਗਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 33 ਗੁਜਰਾਤੀ, 35 ਹਰਿਆਣਵੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਤੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ 2 ਵਜੇ ਉਤਰਾ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਅਮਲਾ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸੀ। ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, 30 ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 5 ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ, 4 ਜਲੰਧਰ, 4 ਪਟਿਆਲਾ, 6 ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ, 2-2 ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਐੱਸਬੀਐੱਸ ਨਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਹਨ।
ਇਹ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦੋਬਈ ਤੋਂ ਏਜੰਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਝਾਂਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਗ਼ੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 30-40 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਰਕਮ ਚੁਕਾਈ। ਜਦ ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਉਤਰੀਆ, ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਇਮੀਗਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਨੇ 18,000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਗ਼ੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਨਾਖਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਂ ਟੂਰਿਸਟ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ 'ਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ।
Under the U.S. government’s strict policy against illegal immigration, 104 Indian deportees, including 30 Punjabis, were flown back to India today. They landed at Amritsar airport, arriving via a special U.S. military aircraft, the C-17.
Among those deported, 33 were from Gujarat, 35 from Haryana, and others from Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. The flight, which landed at Amritsar airport, also carried U.S. officials and crew members. Reports confirm that among the 30 deported Punjabis, individuals belonged to cities like Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, and others.
Many of these young men had fallen prey to agents in Dubai, paying ₹30-40 lakh to enter the U.S. illegally. Upon arrival, they were kept in a separate area for immigration clearance at Amritsar airport.
According to reports, the U.S. has identified over 18,000 illegal Indian immigrants who lack proper documentation. Many had crossed the borders illegally, while others had overstayed on tourist visas.
