ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਗੜਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਫੋਰਟਿਸ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਮਹਾਸ਼ਿਵਰਾਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਲੱਡ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ਼ਰ (BP) ਅਚਾਨਕ ਵਧ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਹੈਲੀਕਾਪਟਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ। ਡਾਕਟਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਟੀਮ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਸਥਿਰ ਦੱਸੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਅੱਜ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਖ਼ਰਾਬ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਫੋਰਟਿਸ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਪਿਆ। ਮਿਲੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅੱਜ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਲਕੇ ਧੂਰੀ (ਸੰਗਰੂਰ) ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਾਸ਼ਿਵਰਾਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਬਰਾਹਟ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਲੱਡ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ਼ਰ (BP) ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਵਧ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦਿਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਹੈਲੀਕਾਪਟਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦੇ ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਕਰੀਬ 3:20 ਵਜੇ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮਾਹਿਰ ਡਾਕਟਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਹੇਠ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਟੈਸਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਫੋਰਟਿਸ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਪੈਰਾਮੀਟਰ (Vital Parameters) ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਸਥਿਰ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਥਕਾਵਟ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਈ ਬੀਪੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਬਜ਼ਰਵੇਸ਼ਨ (ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ) ਹੇਠ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਨਤਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਾਜ਼ਿਲਕਾ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸੀ, ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਦੱਸਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਥਕਾਵਟ ਅਤੇ ਇਨਫੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਹੋਣਾ ਪਿਆ ਸੀ। ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਕੇ.ਏ.ਪੀ. ਸਿਨਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ. ਗੌਰਵ ਯਾਦਵ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹਨ। ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਰੀਮੋ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ, ਜੋ ਅੱਜ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ, ਵੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਬਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was rushed to Fortis Hospital in Mohali on Sunday afternoon after his blood pressure shot up during his visit to Sangrur. The Chief Minister was in his constituency, Dhuri, to attend Mahashivratri festivities along with AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal when he reported feeling unwell. Given the urgency, he was transported to the Mohali facility via a government helicopter around 3:20 PM.
According to a medical bulletin from Fortis Hospital, CM Mann is currently undergoing a series of diagnostic tests and is being monitored by a multidisciplinary team of doctors. While his vitals are reported to be stable, he has been admitted for supportive care and observation due to extreme exhaustion and high blood pressure. Consequently, all his scheduled public engagements, including a visit to Fazilka and a press conference, have been cancelled.
Prominent officials, including Punjab Chief Secretary KAP Sinha, DGP Gaurav Yadav, and the Chief Minister's wife, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, are present at the hospital. This marks another instance of health concerns for the 51-year-old leader, who had previously been treated for similar issues in September last year. Party sources indicate that while there is no immediate cause for alarm, rest has been strictly advised to the Punjab CM in view of his hectic schedule in February 2026.
