ਗੁੰਮ ਹੋਏ ਸਰੂਪ ਮਾਮਲਾ: ਜਾਂਚ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਐਕਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ 'ਚ ਦਖਲ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ 328 ਗੁੰਮ ਹੋਏ ਸਰੂਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਤਿੰਨ ਮੈਂਬਰੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਦਖਲ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਗਸਤ 2020 ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਘਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਮਾਮਲੇ 'ਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੀ ਅਣਦੇਖੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਹ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਗਲਤ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ (SGPC) ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ 'ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਦਖਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਚਾਰਾਜੋਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ
ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ 328 ਗੁੰਮ ਹੋਏ ਪਾਵਨ ਸਰੂਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਤਿੰਨ ਮੈਂਬਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ 'ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਸੌਂਪ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਗਸਤ 2020 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਖੇਤਰ (jurisdiction) ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਦਖਲ ਸੀ।
ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਰ-ਸਿਆਸੀ ਦਖਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ (SGPC) ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਣਦੇਖੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਜਾਂਚ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਖੇਤਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਖਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਸੀ।
ਇਸ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ (SGPC) ਨੂੰ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਦਖਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰੇ। ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਨੋਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਸਿਆਸਤਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੇ ਹੱਕਦਾਰ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਰਘਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਕੀਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਜਾਂਚ ਦਾ ਮਕਸਦ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਦਖਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਈ।
ਇਹ ਗੁੰਮ ਹੋਏ ਸਰੂਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ 2020 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਠੇਸ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਈ ਸੀ। ਜਾਂਚ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ SGPC ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਆਧਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
There has been a significant development in the case of the 328 missing sacred Saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The three-member Inquiry Committee, appointed by Sri Akal Takht Sahib, has submitted its report on the matter. The committee found that the action taken by the Punjab government in August 2020 on this religious issue was a direct interference in the jurisdiction of Sikh institutions.
According to the committee's report, the government's action was non-political interference in the internal affairs of the Sikh religion, which overlooked the authority of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and Sri Akal Takht Sahib. The Inquiry Committee clarified that the matter related to the Saroops of Guru Granth Sahib is the jurisdiction of Sikh religious institutions, and the government should not have intervened.
The report strictly instructed the Shiromani Committee (SGPC) to take legal action against this government interference in religious matters. The committee also noted that any politicians and officials involved in this matter are liable for legal proceedings. This committee was appointed by the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Raghbir Singh, and included Sikh scholars and lawyers. The purpose of this investigation was not only to understand the seriousness of the issue but also to examine where government interference in the functioning of Sikh institutions began.
The case of the missing Saroops first emerged in 2020 and deeply hurt the sentiments of the entire Sikh community. This report from the Inquiry Committee provides a strong basis for the SGPC to maintain the autonomy of religious affairs.
