ਪੰਜਾਬ-ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿਵਾਦ: ਸਰਬ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ 'ਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਪੋਜ਼ੀਸ਼ਨ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਪਾਣੀ ਵੰਡ ਦੇ ਮਸਲੇ ਨੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਤੀਬਰਤਾ ਫੜੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਭਾਖੜਾ ਬਿਆਸ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਬੋਰਡ ਨੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਧੂ 8,500 ਕਿਊਸਿਕ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ, ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ 2 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਰਬ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਬੁਲਾਈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਕਸੁਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵਾਧੂ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਮਸਲੇ 'ਤੇ ਅਗਲੀ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਤੈਅ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਪਾਣੀ ਵੰਡ ਦੇ ਮਸਲੇ ਨੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਤੀਬਰਤਾ ਫੜੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਭਾਖੜਾ ਬਿਆਸ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਬੋਰਡ (BBMB) ਨੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਧੂ 8,500 ਕਿਊਸਿਕ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ 2 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਰਬ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਬੁਲਾਈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ।
ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਕਸੁਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵਾਧੂ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਮਸਲੇ 'ਤੇ ਅਗਲੀ ਰਣਨੀਤੀ ਤੈਅ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਸੁਖਾਵੇਂ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਸੁਝਾਅ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਇਜਲਾਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਭਾਜਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਨੀਲ ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ ਸਟੇਟ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਇਸ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੂੰਦੜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਸਲਾ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਉਲਝਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇਤਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੁੱਦੇ 'ਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
The water-sharing dispute between Punjab and Haryana has intensified following the Bhakra Beas Management Board's (BBMB) decision to release an additional 8,500 cusecs of water to Haryana. In response, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann convened an all-party meeting on May 2 in Chandigarh, attended by leaders from all political parties.
During the meeting, a unanimous decision was made that no extra water would be provided to Haryana. The authority to formulate the next strategy on this issue was entrusted to the Chief Minister. Shiromani Akali Dal's Balwinder Singh Bhundar remarked that the water issue has always been complicated by the central government and should be resolved by it. Congress leader Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa stated that the Congress party has given the Chief Minister the authority on this matter.
