ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ ਨਵਾਂ ਸਰੂਪ: ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਮੀਟ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਹਟਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਮਰਿਆਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮੀਟ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਹਟਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਕਦਮ ਦਾ ਮਕਸਦ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਦਿੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਹੈ
ਗੁਰੂ ਕੀ ਨਗਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਮਰਿਆਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਅਹਿਮ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵਿੱਢੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਤਹਿਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਮੀਟ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਟਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਰਸਮੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਖਾਸ ਘੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਜੋ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੇਸ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ।
ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨਿਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਲਾਕਾ ਖਾਲੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰੀਖਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਦਮ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਮਈ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਦੇਸ਼-ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਖਦ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ।
ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਦਾ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਨਿਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਰਵਾਂ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਦੱਸਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ 'ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ' (Holy City) ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਦਰਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਲ ਮਾਇਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਲ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ। ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਰੱਖੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮੁੜ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
Keeping in view the religious decorum and sanctity of the Guru's city, Amritsar, a significant campaign has been launched by the district administration and the Municipal Corporation. Under this action, the process to remove liquor and meat shops from the vicinity of Sri Darbar Sahib and its surrounding areas has formally commenced. For a long time, Sikh organizations and devotees had been demanding that such shops, which hurt religious sentiments, should not exist within a specific radius of the holy city.
According to administrative officials, shops operating in violation of rules have been identified, and notices are being issued to them to vacate the premises. Teams from the police and the Municipal Corporation are jointly inspecting these locations. This step will not only make the city's atmosphere peaceful and pure but will also provide a pleasant experience to the millions of devotees arriving from across the country and the world.
Local residents and religious institutions have warmly welcomed this decision. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has also termed this action as historic, stating that it will truly reinforce Amritsar's status as a 'Holy City'. The administration has clarified that this campaign is not just for a few days; continuous monitoring will be maintained in the future to ensure no one violates the rules again. Devotees have also been urged to cooperate in maintaining the beauty and sanctity of the city.
