ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਮੌਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ
ਦਸਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਛਤਰ-ਛਾਇਆ ਹੇਠ ਸਜੇ ਇਸ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕੀਤੀ
ਸਰਬੰਸ ਦਾਨੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਅੱਜ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਵਨ ਸਰੂਪ ਨੂੰ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਜੀ ਪਾਲਕੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਸ਼ੋਭਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਰਾਗੀ ਜਥਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਲਾਹੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਕੂਲੀ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ, ਬੈਂਡ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੱਤਕਾ ਅਖਾੜਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੌਹਰ ਦਿਖਾ ਕੇ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਵਧਾਈ। ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਥਾਂ-ਥਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਲੰਗਰ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦਾ ਭਰਵਾਂ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੂਰਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ 'ਬੋਲੇ ਸੋ ਨਿਹਾਲ' ਦੇ ਜੈਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੂੰਜ ਉੱਠਿਆ।
ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਇਹ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਵਾਪਸ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੰਪੰਨ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਾਰਗ 'ਤੇ ਚੱਲਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਦੀਪਮਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਲੌਅ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਦੇਸ਼-ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨਤਮਸਤਕ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Amidst immense fervor and devotion, the holy birth anniversary (Parkash Purab) of the benevolent tenth Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, was celebrated in Amritsar today. On this joyous occasion, a grand Nagar Kirtan (religious procession) was organized starting from Sri Akal Takht Sahib. The procession was led by the 'Panj Pyare' (Five Beloved Ones), with the holy Saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji enshrined in a beautifully decorated palanquin (Palki Sahib).
During the Nagar Kirtan, the Hazuri Ragi Jathas of Sri Darbar Sahib enthralled the devotees with the soulful singing of divine Gurbani. School children, band parties, and Gatka groups displayed their skills, adding to the grandeur of the procession. Devotees set up community kitchens (Langars) at various spots along the route and accorded a warm welcome to the Nagar Kirtan. The entire atmosphere echoed with the spirited chants of 'Bole So Nihal'.
The procession, managed by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), passed through various markets of the city before concluding back at the Sri Harmandir Sahib complex. On this occasion, the Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and other prominent personalities urged the Sangat to follow the path shown by the Guru. Millions of devotees from across the country and abroad are visiting Sri Darbar Sahib to witness the spectacular illumination (Deepmala) and the display of sacred relics (Jalau) in honor of the Parkash Purab.
