ਦੁਬਈ ਏਅਰ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਤੇਜਸ ਲੜਾਕੂ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਹਾਦਸਾਗ੍ਰਸਤ, ਪਾਇਲਟ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ
ਦੁਬਈ ਏਅਰ ਸ਼ੋਅ 2025 ਦੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਦਿਨ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਫੌਜ ਦਾ ਤੇਜਸ ਲੜਾਕੂ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਏਰੀਅਲ ਡਿਸਪਲੇਅ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹਾਦਸਾਗ੍ਰਸਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਵਿੰਗ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਨਮਨਸ਼ ਸਿਆਲ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਨੈਗੇਟਿਵ ਜੀ ਮੈਨੂਵਰ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਕਵਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਟਕਰਾ ਗਿਆ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਫੌਜ ਨੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਲਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਆਫ਼ ਇਨਕੁਆਰੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਦੁੱਖ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਦੁਬਈ: ਦੁਬਈ ਏਅਰ ਸ਼ੋਅ 2025 ਦੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਦਿਨ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਫੌਜ ਦਾ ਤੇਜਸ ਲੜਾਕੂ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਏਰੀਅਲ ਡਿਸਪਲੇਅ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹਾਦਸਾਗ੍ਰਸਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਵਿੰਗ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਨਮਨਸ਼ ਸਿਆਲ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਅਲ ਮਕਤੂਮ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਏਅਰਪੋਰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਲਗਭਗ 2 ਵਜ ਕੇ 10 ਮਿੰਟਾਂ ਤੇ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੇਜਸ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਕਈ ਚੱਕਰ ਮਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਨਿਯੰਤਰਣ ਗੁਆ ਬੈਠਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਿਆ। ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਨੇ ਅੱਗ ਫੜ੍ਹ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਗਹਿਰਾ ਕਾਲਾ ਧੂੰਆਂ ਉੱਠਿਆ।
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਫੌਜ ਨੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੁਬਈ ਏਅਰ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਏਰੀਅਲ ਡਿਸਪਲੇਅ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਤੇਜਸ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਹਵਾਈ ਫੌਜ ਨੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਜਤਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ ਜਤਾਈ। ਹਾਦਸੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਲਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਆਫ਼ ਇਨਕੁਆਰੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਵਿੰਗ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਨਮਨਸ਼ ਸਿਆਲ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕਾਂਗੜਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਦਸੰਬਰ 2009 ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਫੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਨੈਗੇਟਿਵ ਜੀ ਮੈਨੂਵਰ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਕਵਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਹ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਿਆ। ਵੀਡੀਓ ਫੁਟੇਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਗਲਾਈਡ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਦੁਬਈ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਨੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਤੇਜਸ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਏਅਰ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿਸਪਲੇਅ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹਾਦਸਾਗ੍ਰਸਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਫਾਇਰ ਬ੍ਰਿਗੇਡ ਅਤੇ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਰੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਾਜਨਾਥ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਚੀਫ਼ ਆਫ਼ ਡਿਫੈਂਸ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਜਨਰਲ ਅਨਿਲ ਚੌਹਾਨ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਦੁੱਖ ਜਤਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਤੇਜਸ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਨ ਏਰੋਨੌਟਿਕਸ ਲਿਮਿਟੇਡ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸਵਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਲੜਾਕੂ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਫੌਜ ਦੀ ਰੀੜ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਹੱਡੀ ਬਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਤੇਜਸ ਦਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਹੈ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੋਖਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਤੇਜਸ ਹਾਦਸਾਗ੍ਰਸਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਬਚ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
Dubai: On the final day of the Dubai Air Show 2025, an Indian Air Force Tejas fighter jet crashed during an aerial display, resulting in the death of pilot Wing Commander Namansh Syal. The accident occurred at Al Maktoum International Airport around 2:10 pm local time when the Tejas jet lost control after several laps and dove straight to the ground. The aircraft caught fire and produced thick black smoke.
The Indian Air Force issued a statement saying that the Tejas jet met with an accident during the aerial display at the Dubai Air Show and the pilot sustained fatal injuries leading to his death. The Air Force expressed deep regret and extended condolences to the bereaved family. A Court of Inquiry is being constituted to investigate the causes of the accident.
Wing Commander Namansh Syal belonged to Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh and was commissioned into the Indian Air Force in December 2009. Experts believe the jet failed to recover from a negative G maneuver, causing it to fall straight down. Video footage shows the aircraft descending without gliding.
The Dubai Media Office stated that the Indian Tejas fighter jet crashed during the display, resulting in the tragic death of the pilot. Fire brigade and emergency teams responded immediately. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan also expressed grief and solidarity with the family.
The Tejas fighter jet is an indigenous aircraft manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and is set to become the backbone of the Indian Air Force. This is the second Tejas accident; the first occurred in Pokhran, Rajasthan in 2024, where the pilot ejected safely.
