ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਿਆ, ਇਸਲਾਮ ਕਬੂਲ ਕੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਕੀਤਾ
ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਲਾਹੌਰ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਔਰਤ ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਤੇ ਆਈ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਇਸਲਾਮ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਨਸੀਰ ਹੁਸੈਨ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਲਿਆ। ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਖਲ ਨਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਲਾਹੌਰ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਗ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਔਰਤ ਇਸਲਾਮ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ (48 ਸਾਲ) ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਔਰਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਦਿਨ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ 2000 ਸਿੱਖ ਯਾਤਰੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਘਾ ਬਾਰਡਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਆਈ ਸੀ।
ਯਾਤਰੂ ਨਨਕਾਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਉੱਥੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਸ਼ੇਖੂਪੁਰਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸੀਰ ਹੁਸੈਨ ਨਾਲ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਲਿਆ। ਇਹ ਵਿਆਹ 4 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਹੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਇਸਲਾਮ ਕਬੂਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਂ ਨੂਰ ਰੱਖ ਲਿਆ। ਉਹ ਫੇਸਬੁੱਕ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨਸੀਰ ਹੁਸੈਨ ਨੂੰ ਨੌਂ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣਦੀ ਸੀ। ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਤਲਾਕਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਨ।
ਜਦੋਂ ਯਾਤਰੂ 13 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਭਾਰਤ ਆ ਗਏ ਤਾਂ ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਗਾਇਬ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਛਾਪਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਤੋੜਨ ਲਈ ਦਬਾਅ ਪਾਇਆ। ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਸੀਰ ਹੁਸੈਨ ਨੇ ਲਾਹੌਰ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਟੀਸ਼ਨ ਦਾਇਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਗ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਹੂਤਾ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਖਲ ਦੇ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਟੀਸ਼ਨਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਾ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਤਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵਾਪਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ। ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਮੰਨ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
The Lahore High Court has ordered the Pakistani police not to harass an Indian Sikh woman who has converted to Islam and married a Pakistani Muslim man. This woman named Sarabjeet Kaur (48 years old) is a resident of Kapurthala district in Punjab and she came to Pakistan via Wagah border earlier this month with 2000 Sikh pilgrims to participate in the celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's birth anniversary.
The pilgrims went to Nankana Sahib but Sarabjeet Kaur did not go there and directly went to Sheikhupura district and married Nasir Hussain. This marriage took place just the next day after arriving on November 4. Sarabjeet Kaur converted to Islam and changed her name to Noor. She knew Nasir Hussain for nine years through Facebook. Sarabjeet Kaur is divorced and has two sons.
When the pilgrims returned to India on November 13, Sarabjeet Kaur was missing. After that, Pakistani police raided their house and pressured them to end the marriage. Sarabjeet Kaur and Nasir Hussain filed a petition in the Lahore High Court that the police is harassing them and interfering in their married life. The court stopped the police from harassment and said that no harm should be caused to the petitioners.
Sarabjeet Kaur said in a video that she married of her own free will and is happy. She is contacting the Indian mission to extend her visa and obtain Pakistani citizenship. The matter is also being investigated in India but Sarabjeet Kaur said she does not want to return. This case is also being discussed on social media and many people consider it a marriage of her own choice.
