ਸ਼ਿਮਲਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਠੰਢਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ 'ਚ ਪਾਰਾ 2.9 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਤੱਕ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੰਢ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਫੜ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਸ਼ਿਮਲਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ 2.9 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਦਕਿ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੰਢ ਅਤੇ ਧੁੰਦ ਹੋਰ ਵਧਣ ਦੀ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਖੁਸ਼ਕ ਠੰਢ ਕਾਰਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਹਤ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਨਵੰਬਰ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਅਖੀਰਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਮੇਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੰਢ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਸਲੀ ਰੰਗ ਦਿਖਾਉਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਹੈਰਾਨੀਜਨਕ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨੀ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ਿਮਲਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਠੰਢੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਅੰਕੜਿਆਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਠੰਢਾ ਰਿਹਾ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਰਾਤ ਦਾ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ 2.9 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਮਲਾ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਕਰੀਬ 4 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਘੱਟ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸ਼ਿਮਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ 7 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਰਿਹਾ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਠੰਢ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ 5.6 ਡਿਗਰੀ, ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ 6 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਠਾਨਕੋਟ ਵਿੱਚ 6.6 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵੀ ਸੀਤ ਲਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਲਪੇਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪਾਰਾ ਆਮ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਡਿੱਗ ਕੇ 7.9 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ 'ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ 8 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ 9.3 ਡਿਗਰੀ ਸੈਲਸੀਅਸ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਰਿਹਾ। ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਹਿਸਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਰਨੌਲ ਵਰਗੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਕਾਫੀ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਵਧਦੀ ਠੰਢ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੁੰਦ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਦਸਤਕ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਅਜੇ ਧੁੰਦ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ-ਸ਼ਾਮ ਵਾਹਨ ਚਾਲਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਮੌਸਮ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਗਲੇ ਦੋ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੰਢ ਦਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੋਰ ਵਧੇਗਾ। ਡਾਕਟਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸੁੱਕੀ ਠੰਢ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਣ ਲਈ ਗਰਮ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਖਿਆਲ ਰੱਖਣ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਈ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਖਾਂਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਕਾਮ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਧ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
In the final days of November, the cold has truly begun to show its strength across North India, including Punjab. Surprisingly, the plains of Punjab have now become colder than the famous hill station of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla. According to the latest data from the Meteorological Department, Faridkot was the coldest city in the state, where the minimum night temperature was recorded at 2.9 degrees Celsius. This temperature is about 4 degrees Celsius lower than Shimla, as the minimum temperature in Shimla stood at 7 degrees Celsius.
The cold wave continues to grip other cities in Punjab as well. The temperature was recorded at 5.6 degrees in Bathinda, 6 degrees in Gurdaspur, and 6.6 degrees Celsius in Pathankot. The capital, Chandigarh, is also under the grip of the cold wave, with the mercury dipping three degrees below normal to reach 7.9 degrees Celsius. Additionally, Ludhiana recorded 8 degrees and Amritsar 9.3 degrees Celsius. Cities in Haryana, like Hisar and Narnaul, also recorded significantly low temperatures.
Along with this increasing cold, fog has also knocked on the doors of the state. Although the fog is not very dense yet, drivers are facing difficulties during the morning and evening hours. Weather experts have warned that the intensity of the cold will increase further in the next two days. Doctors have also advised people to wear warm clothes and take special care of their health to protect themselves from this dry cold, as illnesses like cough and cold are on the rise due to the change in weather.
