ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ 5500 ਨਵੇਂ ਹੋਮ ਗਾਰਡ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ
ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਹਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਰਹੱਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ 5500 ਹੋਮ ਗਾਰਡ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਜਵਾਨ ਸੱਤ ਸਰਹੱਦੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਨਵੀਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਾਈਨ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਅਤੇ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰੇਗੀ।
ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ ਹਾਲੀਆ ਅਤਿਵਾਦੀ ਹਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਰਹੱਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਹੇਠ ਹੋਈ ਉੱਚ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਹੋਮ ਗਾਰਡਜ਼ ਦੇ ਸਰਹੱਦੀ ਵਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ 5500 ਨਵੇਂ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਜਵਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸੱਤ ਸਰਹੱਦੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
Radio Haanji ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦੂਜੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਾਈਨ ਬੀਐਸਐਫ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ, ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਕਰਤੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦਗਾਰ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਧੂ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਵੀ ਜਲਦ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਸਫਲ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕੋਲ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਲਈ ਲੋੜੀਦੀ ਯੋਗਤਾ, ਤਜਰਬਾ ਅਤੇ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਇਰਾਦਾ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਨਵੀਂ ਭਰਤੀ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਧਾਏਗੀ ਸਗੋਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਵੀ ਲਿਆਏਗੀ।
ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ 5500 ਹੋਮ ਗਾਰਡਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਰ 400 ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੜਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਫੋਰਸ (SSF), ਸਟੇਟ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਸਟਰ ਰਿਲੀਫ ਫੋਰਸ (SDRF) ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਹੱਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ, ਨਸ਼ੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਕਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਵੱਲ ਇੱਕ ਅਹੰਕਾਰਪੂਰਕ ਕਦਮ ਹੈ।
In a strategic move following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, the Punjab government has decided to strengthen its second line of border defense by recruiting 5,500 home guard personnel. The decision was made during a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
This new force will be deployed across seven border districts of Punjab to assist the Border Security Force (BSF) and tackle cross-border drug smuggling, arms trafficking, and illegal infiltration.
