ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਲੈਫਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਵਿਨੈ ਨਰਵਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਹਮਲੇ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਨਮ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਵਿਦਾਇਗੀ
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਲੈਫਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਵਿਨੈ ਨਰਵਾਲ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਹੋਣ ਉੱਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਗ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਦੌੜ ਗਈ। ਨਵ ਵਿਆਹੇ ਜੋੜੇ ਦਾ ਹਨੀਮੂਨ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਯਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਗਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਹਮਲਾਵਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਿਮਾਂਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੀ ਵਿਨੈ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਅੰਤਿਮ ਵਿਦਾਇਗੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਹਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਤੱਕ, ਹਰ ਪਲ ਦੇਖਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਦਿਲ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਲੈਫਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਵਿਨੈ ਨਰਵਾਲ (26), ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਏ ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਨਮ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਵਿਦਾਇਗੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਦਿਲ ਤੋੜ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਮਲਾ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਵਿਨੈ ਆਪਣੀ ਨਵਵਿਆਹਿਤ ਪਤਨੀ ਹਿਮਾਂਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਹਨੀਮੂਨ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਹਮਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਹਿਮਾਂਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੀ ਵਿਨੈ ਨੂੰ ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤਗਰਦਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਹਿਮਾਂਸ਼ੀ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਪੀਐੱਚ.ਡੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਭਗਵਾਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੇਵੇ। ਉਹ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਫ਼ਾਦਾਰ ਸੈਨਿਕ ਸੀ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਹੈ।” ਵਿਨੈ ਨਰਵਾਲ ਦੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਦਰਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿੱਥੋਂ ਕਾਰਵਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨਾੜ, ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਥੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਨਾਅਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ 'ਤੇ ਵਾਧੂ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਇਆ।
ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਾਇਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੈਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੀਮਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਨੈ ਨਰਵਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰੇਖਾ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਭਰੀ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਨੈ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਮੋਰੀਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਫਰਜ਼ ਲਈ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਤਤਪਰ ਸੀ। “ਇਸ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੜੀ ਹੈ,” ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ।
Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, a young and dedicated Indian Navy officer, was given an emotional farewell after being martyred in a brutal terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. The 26-year-old was on his honeymoon with his newlywed wife Himanshi when terrorists attacked. Tragically, Vinay was shot dead in front of his wife on April 13, shaking the entire nation.
Himanshi, currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Gurugram, said, “May God bless Vinay's soul. He was a devoted officer and a proud soldier. We are honored to have had him in our lives.”
His mortal remains were flown to Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport and then taken to his hometown Karnal, Haryana. Thousands of citizens joined the procession, chanting anti-Pakistan slogans and paying their last respects. The funeral was conducted with full state honors.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema also paid homage, while Delhi CM Rekha Gupta was present at the airport to offer tributes.
A senior Indian Navy official recalled Narwal as cheerful and committed, saying, “In this difficult time, the entire Navy stands with his family.” The tragic attack has once again highlighted the instability in Kashmir, where peace seems to be increasingly fragile.
