ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਹੈਰੀਟੇਜ ਸਟ੍ਰੀਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ 'ਚ ਨਵਾਂ ਅੜਿੱਕਾ: ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਕਾਰਨ 25 ਕਰੋੜ ਦਾ ਬਜਟ ਖ਼ਤਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਹੈਰੀਟੇਜ ਸਟ੍ਰੀਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ (SGPC) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਤਾਏ ਗਏ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ 'ਤੇ ਸਵਾਲੀਆ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਲੱਗ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਕਾਰਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਲਈ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ 25 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਬਜਟ ਰੱਦ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਕਗਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਹੈ। ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਨਾ ਬਣਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਰੁਕ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਖਾਲਸੇ ਦੀ ਜਨਮ ਭੂਮੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਉਲੀਕਿਆ ਗਿਆ **ਹੈਰੀਟੇਜ ਸਟ੍ਰੀਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ**(Heritage Street Project) ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਵਿਵਾਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਘੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੇ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ (SGPC) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਜਤਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦਾ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸਰੂਪ ਇਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਗਰੀ ਦੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਅਤੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਮਰਿਆਦਾ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਕਾਰਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਲਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ **25 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ** ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਬਜਟ ਹੁਣ ਖ਼ਤਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਜਲਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਨਾ ਬਣੀ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਫੰਡ ਵਾਪਸ ਮੁੜ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦਾ ਤਰਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਨੁਹਾਰ ਬਦਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਰ-ਸਪਾਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕੰਮ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੇ ਰੁਕਣ ਨਾਲ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ਾ ਪਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕਾਫੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਹੈਰੀਟੇਜ ਸਟ੍ਰੀਟ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੀ ਤਰਜ਼ 'ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਹੁਣ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਇਹ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੇ ਨਕਸ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਇਹ 25 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਫਾਈਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਦਬ ਕੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
The **Heritage Street Project**, envisioned to beautify Sri Anandpur Sahib, the birthplace of the Khalsa, has once again fallen into controversy. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has raised strong objections regarding the design and layout of this project. The SGPC maintains that the current form of the project is not in accordance with the historical and religious sanctity of this holy city. Due to these objections, the substantial budget of **₹25 crore**allocated for the project is now at risk. If an agreement between the government and the SGPC is not reached soon, these funds may be reverted. While the administration argues that the project is essential for transforming the city’s appearance and promoting tourism, proceeding without the consent of religious institutions has become difficult. The stalling of this project has caused disappointment among local residents and visiting devotees. There has been a long-standing expectation for this heritage street to be developed on the lines of the heritage street in Amritsar. It remains to be seen whether the administration will succeed in persuading the SGPC by modifying the project's blueprints or if this ₹25 crore development work will remain buried in government files.
