ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਏਆਈ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਗਲਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ’ਤੇ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਜਤਾਇਆ
ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਏਆਈ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਗਲਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਮਸਲੇ ’ਤੇ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਜਤਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਈ-ਮੇਲ ਭੇਜੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਮੀ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਵੀਕਾਰਨਯੋਗ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਸਰੋਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ (ਐਸਜੀਪੀਸੀ) ਨੇ ਆਰਟੀਫੀਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ (ਏਆਈ) ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ, ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਬਾਰੇ ਗਲਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਈ-ਮੇਲ ਭੇਜ ਕੇ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੈਟ ਜੀਪੀਟੀ, ਗਰੋਕ, ਜੈਮਿਨੀ ਏਆਈ, ਮੈਟਾ, ਗੂਗਲ, ਵੀਓ 3, ਮਿੱਡਜਰਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਡੀਪਏਆਈ ਵਰਗੇ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।
ਐਸਜੀਪੀਸੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਮੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਦਲਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਏਆਈ ਟੂਲਜ਼ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਨਾਲ ਛੇੜ-ਛਾੜ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੇਸ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਗਲਤ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ। ਕਈ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਐਪਸ ’ਤੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਧਾਮੀ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਜੀਦਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਰੋਕਥਾਮ ਲਈ ਨੀਤੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਏਆਈ ਐਪਸ ਜਾਂ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਧੂਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਗਲਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ’ਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ। ਇਸ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਹੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਸਰੋਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨ।
ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮਸਲਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੰਜੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਹਿਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਵੀ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਕਮੇਟੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਐਪਸ ’ਤੇ ਗਲਤ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦੀ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੇਗੀ।
The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has taken serious note of misinformation about Gurbani, Sikh history, and Gurmat being spread through Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms. Following complaints from the Sikh community, the SGPC has sent emails to various AI platforms to express its objections. These platforms include ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini AI, Meta, Google, VEO 3, Midjourney, and DeepAI, among others.
SGPC president Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami stated that Sikh traditions are fundamental and cannot be altered in any way. He said that tampering with the images and history of Sikh Gurus through AI tools deeply hurts Sikh sentiments. Presenting the Gurbani from Sri Guru Granth Sahib in a wrong manner is an act of sacrilege, which is unacceptable. Several Gurbani apps also fail to present Gurbani in its pure form, leading to objections from the Sikh community.
Dhami appealed to India’s Home Minister Amit Shah to address this serious issue with urgency and take action at the government level to formulate a policy to curb this trend. He also urged the Sikh community not to rely on incomplete or incorrect information provided by AI apps or platforms and to use authentic historical sources for information on Sikh history and Gurbani.
The SGPC emphasized that this is a highly sensitive issue, and it will seek cooperation from Sikh institutions and experts to address it. The committee has previously taken action against incorrect content on Gurbani apps and will continue to do so.
