ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ: ਭਾਰਤ-ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਵੱਡਾ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਸੁਲਝਾਇਆ

ਅਮਰੀਕੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਡੋਨਲਡ ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਫਿਰ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੂ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੈਸ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਹੋਏ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੇ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਲਝਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰੂਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਵਲਾਦੀਮੀਰ ਪੂਤਿਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਕਰੇਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੰਗ ਨਾ ਰੋਕ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਵਰਜੀਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਕੁਆਂਟਿਕੋ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਰੀਨ ਕੋਰਪਸ ਬੇਸ ਤੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਫੌਜੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਹ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਜੰਗਾਂ ਸੁਲਝਾ ਲਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਸੀਂ ਲਗਭਗ ਨੌਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਸੱਤ ਜੰਗਾਂ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਬੀਤੇ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਜੰਗ ਲਗਭਗ ਸੁਲਝਾ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤ ਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਲਝਾ ਲਿਆ।’

ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਈ 2025 ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਹਾਲਗਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਹਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਦੂਰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਵਧ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ 10 ਮਈ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਤੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਵਾਸ਼ਿੰਗਟਨ ਦੀ ਮਧਿਅਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਸੀਜ਼ਫਾਇਰ ਤੇ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਲੜਾਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਨਾਲ ਵਪਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦਾਅਵੇ ਨੂੰ 10 ਮਈ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਲਗਭਗ 50 ਵਾਰ ਦੁਹਰਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਇਹ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੀਜ਼ਫਾਇਰ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਜਨਰਲ ਆਫ਼ ਮਿਲਟਰੀ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨਜ਼ (ਡੀਜੀਐੱਮਓਜ਼) ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਤੀਸਰੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਮਧਿਅਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਐੱਸ ਜੈਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਬਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਆਗੂ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਹਾ।

ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਗਾਜ਼ਾ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸੁਲਝਾ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਵੇਖਾਂਗੇ। ਹਮਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹੋਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਖ਼ਤੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਰਬ ਤੇ ਮੁਸਲਿਮ ਮੁਲਕ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ।’ ਇਹ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਟਰੰਪ ਦੀ 21-ਪੁਆਇੰਟ ਪੀਸ ਪਲਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਾਜ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਮਾਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਗਵਰਨੈਂਸ ਮਕੈਨਿਜ਼ਮ, ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਬ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲ, ਅਤੇ ਹਮਾਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਇਜ਼ਰਾਇਲ ਨੇ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ਨ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਹਮਾਸ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਅਰਬ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਸਲਿਮ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਸਾਊਦੀ ਅਰਬ, ਕਤਰ, ਯੂਏਈ, ਮਿਸਰ, ਜਾਰਡਨ, ਤੁਰਕੀ, ਇੰਡੋਨੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਐੱਨ ਜਨਰਲ ਅਸੈਂਬਲੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਯੋਜਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ 48 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੱਡਣਾ, ਸਥਾਈ ਸੀਜ਼ਫਾਇਰ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਜ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਮੁੜ-निਰਮਾਣ ਲਈ ਫੰਡਿੰਗ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ। ਪੈਲੇਸਟੀਨੀਆਇਨ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਕੁਆਲੀਫਾਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਪੈਲੇਸਟੀਨੀਆਇਨ ਇਸਲਾਮਿਕ ਜਿਹਾਦ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਟਰੰਪ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਯੂਨਾਈਟਡ ਨੇਸ਼ਨਜ਼ ਜਨਰਲ ਅਸੈਂਬਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਭਾਰਤ-ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਅਵੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਹਰਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੋਬਲ ਪੀਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਜ਼ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੱਤ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਜੰਗਾਂ ਖਤਮ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿਫੈਂਸ ਸੈਕਟਰੀ ਪੀਟ ਹੈਗਸੈਥ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਫੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬੁਰੀ ਹਾਲਤ’ ਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਟਰੰਪ ਦੀ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਨੀਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਪਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਰਗੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਰਜ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

U.S. President Donald Trump has once again claimed today that he resolved the major conflict between nuclear-armed India and Pakistan. He also stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin disappointed him by not stopping the war with Ukraine. Trump made these remarks during a meeting with senior military leaders at the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia. He said, "I've settled a lot of wars since I've been here. We've been here for almost nine months, and I've stopped seven wars. Yesterday, we pretty much settled the biggest one of them all. India and Pakistan, both nuclear powers, I settled it."

It is noteworthy that in May 2025, following a terrorist attack in Pahalgam by Pakistan, India launched Operation Sindoor, during which Pakistan retaliated, escalating the tensions. Trump announced on social media on May 10 that India and Pakistan had agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire through Washington-mediated talks. He also mentioned telling both countries that there would be no trade with the U.S. if they continued fighting. Trump has repeated this claim nearly 50 times since May 10. However, India has consistently clarified that the ceasefire was reached through direct talks between the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of the two countries, with no third-party mediation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar have also stated that no foreign leader asked India to halt the operation.

Trump also mentioned his plan to end the Gaza conflict. He said, "I think it's settled, but we'll see. Hamas has to agree, and if they don't, it's going to be very tough on them, but all the Arab and Muslim countries have agreed to it." This plan, known as Trump's 21-point peace plan, includes a governance mechanism in Gaza without Hamas, an international and Arab security force, and the dismantling of Hamas's heavy weapons. Israel has tentatively agreed to it, but Hamas is still reviewing it. Arab and Muslim countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Indonesia, and Pakistan welcomed it on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly and pledged to implement it. The plan includes releasing all hostages within 48 hours, a permanent ceasefire, and funding for Gaza's reconstruction. The Palestinian Authority has largely welcomed it, but the Palestinian Islamic Jihad has rejected it. Trump repeated his claim of stopping the India-Pakistan conflict in his address to world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly last week. He also said he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for ending seven such wars that seemed unendable. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was also present at the meeting and pledged to fix "decades of decay" in the military.
