ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਲਈ 3 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਰਲ ਇਜਲਾਸ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪੁਨਰ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਲੜਨਗੇ। ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੇ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਐਲਾਨਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ (ਮਾਨ ਦਲ) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚੋਣ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਰੋਸ ਵਿਖਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਹੁਦੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਲਈ ਭਲਕੇ 3 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਜਨਰਲ ਇਜਲਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਹਾਕਮ ਧਿਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪੁਨਰ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ (ਮਾਨ ਦਲ) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਚੋਣ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਰੋਸ ਵਿਖਾਵਾ ਲੰਗਰ ਹਾਲ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਅੱਜ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਹਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਕਮ ਧਿਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਲਕੇ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਚੋਣ ਇਜਲਾਸ ਲਈ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਮੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੂੰਦੜ, ਡਾਕਟਰ ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੀਮਾ, ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਹਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਿਆ। ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੀਮਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਲਕੇ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਚੋਣ ਇਜਲਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਮੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਐਲਾਨਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵੀ ਸੁਣੇ ਸਨ।

This evening, a meeting was held with members of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee affiliated with the ruling party Shiromani Akali Dal at Teja Singh Samundri Hall. In this meeting, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami was announced as the party's candidate for the election session tomorrow. Besides Sukhbir Singh Badal, Balwinder Singh Bhundar, Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, the current president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, and member Rajinder Singh Mehta addressed the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee members. After the meeting, the party's spokesperson Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema stated that the party president has announced Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami as the candidate for president in tomorrow's election session. Prior to this, he had met with the party's Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee members and listened to their views.
