ਮੁੰਬਈ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਚ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਨਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਖੋਲ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਲੱਗੇ ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ (CCTV) ਕੈਮਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਫੁਟੇਜ ਖੰਗਾਲੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਹਮਲਾਵਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸ਼ੈੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੁਹੂ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਗਸ਼ਤ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਇਸ ਫਾਇਰਿੰਗ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਇਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਡਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਸੀ। ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਹਸਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਧਮਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਫਿਲਮ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਸਿਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ 'ਤੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਲਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
Panic gripped the Juhu area of Mumbai early this morning following a firing incident outside the residence of renowned Bollywood action director Rohit Shetty. According to reports, two unidentified motorcycle-borne individuals opened fire outside the main gate of Rohit Shetty’s house and fled the scene. Rohit Shetty was reportedly inside his home at the time of the incident. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties have been reported in this attack.
