ਨਵਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਪਾਰਟੀ 'ਚੋਂ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ, 500 ਕਰੋੜ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਨੇ ਮਚਾਈ ਸੀ ਹਲਚਲ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕਾ ਡਾ. ਨਵਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿਵਾਦਿਤ ਬਿਆਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਕੁਰਸੀ ਲਈ 500 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇਣੇ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਾਰਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕਾ ਡਾ. ਨਵਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਨਾਲ ਬਰਖਾਸਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ 6 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਡਾ. ਨਵਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਹੈਰਾਨੀਜਨਕ ਬਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ 500 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਸੂਟਕੇਸ ਦੇਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਤੀ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਇੰਨੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਰਕਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸਕਦੇ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਦੀ ਦੌੜ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਬਿਆਨ ਨੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਗਲਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
ਡਾ. ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਭਾਰੀ ਗੁੱਟਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਆਗੂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਕੁਰਸੀ ਲਈ ਕਤਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਜੇਕਰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਐਲਾਨਦੀ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਯੰਕਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਵਾਡਰਾ ਨਾਲ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ 'ਸੁਨਹਿਰੀ ਰਾਜ' ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦੋ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਕਾਫੀ ਬੇਚੈਨੀ ਪਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਕਈ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਬਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਆਖਰਕਾਰ, ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਅਕਸ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਦਾ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਡਾ. ਨਵਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਦਾ ਰਸਤਾ ਦਿਖਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
In a major political decision, the Punjab Congress has suspended senior leader and former MLA Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu from the party. Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring took this strict step, issuing orders to dismiss her from the primary membership of the party with immediate effect.
This entire matter began on December 6, when Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu made a shocking statement while talking to reporters outside the Punjab Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh. She claimed that one has to give a suitcase filled with 500 crore rupees to become the Chief Minister in Punjab. She stated that her husband, Navjot Singh Sidhu, cannot pay such a huge amount, which is why he is away from the race for the post. This statement created a storm in political circles, and opposition parties started targeting the Congress.
Dr. Sidhu also mentioned that there is heavy factionalism within the party and five leaders are in line for the Chief Minister's chair. According to her, Navjot Sidhu will return to active politics only if the party announces him as the Chief Minister face. However, she also clarified that she and her family are deeply attached to the Congress and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and possess the capability to turn Punjab into a "golden state."
For the past two days, there was considerable unrest within the Congress party due to this statement. Many Congress leaders had condemned this remark. Finally, seeing the damage to the party's image, State President Raja Warring took disciplinary action and showed Dr. Navjot Kaur Sidhu the way out of the party.
