ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ 7 ਫਰਵਰੀ 2026 ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੌਰੇ 'ਤੇ ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਕੁਆਲਾਲੰਪੁਰ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਇੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਨਿੱਘਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਨਵਰ ਇਬਰਾਹਿਮ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਟੋਕੋਲ ਤੋੜਦਿਆਂ ਖੁਦ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਪੀਐਮ ਮੋਦੀ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਨੇਤਾ ਇੱਕੋ ਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਲਈ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਏ। ਪੀਐਮ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ 'ਖ਼ਾਸ ਸੰਕੇਤ' ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੀ 2026 ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਖ਼ੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੀ। ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਦੋਂ ਪੀਐਮ ਮੋਦੀ ਕੁਆਲਾਲੰਪੁਰ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਉਤਰੇ, ਤਾਂ ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਨਵਰ ਇਬਰਾਹਿਮ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਉੱਥੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਰਹੀ ਕਿ ਅਨਵਰ ਇਬਰਾਹਿਮ ਨੇ ਪੀਐਮ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਠਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਨੇਤਾ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਸਫਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ 'ਸਲਾਮਤ ਦਾਤੰਗ ਮੋਦੀ ਜੀ' (Selamat Datang Modiji) ਨਾਮਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਡਾਇਸਪੋਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪੀਐਮ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਮੇਰੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਅਨਵਰ ਇਬਰਾਹਿਮ ਨੇ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਠਾ ਕੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਤੱਕ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਏ। ਇਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਰ ਸਵਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ 140 ਕਰੋੜ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਸੀ।" ਪੀਐਮ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
