ਕਰਨਲ ਪੁਸ਼ਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਠ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ, ਜਸਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਬਾਠ, ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਕੋਈ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ 'ਤੇ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ਾ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੀ ਮਿਲੀਭਗਤ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਚਾਰ ਥਾਣਾ ਮੁਖੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਾਦਰ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਰਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਕੋਈ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ, ਕਰਨਲ ਪੁਸ਼ਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਠ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ, ਬੀਬੀ ਜਸਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਬਾਠ, ਨੇ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਈ ਹੈ। 13-14 ਮਾਰਚ ਦੀ ਰਾਤ, ਢਾਬੇ 'ਤੇ ਕਰਨਲ ਪੁਸ਼ਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਠ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅੰਗਦ ਬਾਠ 'ਤੇ ਦਰਜਨ ਭਰ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੁੱਟਮਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ, ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਸੀਬੀਆਈ ਜਾਂਚ ਅਤੇ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਐੱਸਐੱਸਪੀ ਡਾ. ਨਾਨਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਤਬਾਦਲਾ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦੀ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿਵਾਇਆ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਕੋਈ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ। ਬੀਬੀ ਬਾਠ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ 'ਤੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੀ ਮਿਲੀਭਗਤ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਚਾਰ ਥਾਣਾ ਮੁਖੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਾਦਰ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਰਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।
