ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਹਵਾਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਖਤੀ: ਇੰਡੀਗੋ ਨੂੰ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ’ਚ 10 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ
ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਹਵਾਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਮੋਹਨ ਨਾਇਡੂ ਨੇ ਇੰਡੀਗੋ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 10 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਖਤ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਰੱਦ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਭਾਰੀ ਖੱਜਲ-ਖੁਆਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਮਕਸਦ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਘਟਾ ਕੇ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਸਥਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਭਰੋਸੇਮੰਦ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ
ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨ ਇੰਡੀਗੋ (IndiGo) ਵਲੋਂ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦਾ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਹਵਾਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ (Civil Aviation Minister) ਰਾਮ ਮੋਹਨ ਨਾਇਡੂ ਨੇ ਇੰਡੀਗੋ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 10 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ (Crew Rostering) ਵਿੱਚ ਕਮੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਹਵਾਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਨੇ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇੰਡੀਗੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਡਿਊਲ (Winter Schedule) ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਾਵੇ। ਇਸ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਕਸਦ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨ ਦੇ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਲੀਹ ’ਤੇ ਲਿਆਉਣਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਬਾਕੀ ਬਚੀਆਂ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਚੱਲ ਸਕਣ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਸਾਫਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਉਡਾਣ ਰੱਦ ਹੋਣ (Flight Cancellation) ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇ।
ਰਾਮ ਮੋਹਨ ਨਾਇਡੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਤਰਜੀਹ ਹੈ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਰੱਦ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਰਿਫੰਡ (Refund) ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਮਦਦ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟੋਰੇਟ ਜਨਰਲ ਆਫ ਸਿਵਲ ਏਵੀਏਸ਼ਨ (DGCA) ਵੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ 'ਤੇ ਨੇੜਿਓਂ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਰੱਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਫ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਦੀ ਅਸਫਲਤਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਕਲੀਫ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਸਖਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ, ਪਰ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਹਵਾਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਰਤਾ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ।
Passengers have faced severe difficulties due to the cancellation of a large number of flights by the country's largest airline, IndiGo, in recent days. Taking note of this serious situation, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu has ordered IndiGo to cut its daily flights by 10 percent.
The Minister clarified that thousands of passengers were inconvenienced due to flaws in the airline's internal management and crew rostering. Therefore, the Civil Aviation Ministry has decided that IndiGo must reduce the flights included in its Winter Schedule. The main objective of this reduction is to bring the airline's system back on track so that the remaining flights can operate on time and passengers do not face the problem of sudden flight cancellation.
Ram Mohan Naidu stated that passenger convenience is the government's top priority. Instructions have also been issued to provide full refunds and all possible assistance to passengers whose flights have been cancelled. The DGCA(Directorate General of Civil Aviation) is also closely monitoring the situation. The government has made it clear that strict action will be taken against any airline that causes hardship to passengers due to management failure. While this decision will impact hundreds of flights daily, it is expected to bring stability to the aviation sector.
