ਬਲਕੌਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਲਈ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਦਮ ਰੱਖਿਆ
ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਲਕੌਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਦੇ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਲਈ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਨਾ ਮਿਲਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਹੁਣ ਖੁਦ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਚੁੱਕਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 2027 ਦੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਨਸਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਚੋਣ ਲੜਨ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਮਰਹੂਮ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਾਇਕ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਲਕੌਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਦੇ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਦਮ ਰੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 2027 ਦੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਨਸਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੋਣ ਲੜਨਗੇ। ਇਹ ਐਲਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਤੀਸਰੀ ਬਰਸੀ ਮੌਕੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਮੂਸਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਬਲਕੌਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ, ਪਰ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਢੰਗ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਕੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਣਡਿੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਲਾਰੈਂਸ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਗੋਲਡੀ ਬਰਾਰ ਵਰਗੇ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੀਮਾਪਣ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ੀ 'ਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸੇ ਕਾਰਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਿਰਣੈ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਖੁਦ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਚੁੱਕਣਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਦਾ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਲੈ ਸਕਣ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ।
ਬਲਕੌਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਇਨਿੰਗਜ਼ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਲੈਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਧਾਰਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਣਗੇ।
Balkaur Singh, father of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, has announced his decision to enter politics to seek justice for his son's murder. He declared that he would contest the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections from the Mansa constituency. This announcement was made during a gathering in Moosa village on the third death anniversary of Sidhu Moosewala.
Balkaur Singh expressed his frustration over the lack of progress in the investigation and criticized the Aam Aadmi Party government led by Bhagwant Mann for their inaction. He pointed out that gangsters like Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar have not been adequately prosecuted.
He shared that during court appearances, gangsters make derogatory remarks towards him, which has been deeply painful. This has compelled him to take matters into his own hands by entering politics to raise his voice in the Vidhan Sabha, aiming to secure justice for his son and improve public safety.
Balkaur Singh emphasized that his political journey would focus on achieving justice and reforming the law and order situation in Punjab. He assured the public of his commitment to these causes.
