ਬਲਕੌਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲੜਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ; ਕਿਹਾ- ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਜਿੱਤਾਂਗੇ
ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਲਕੌਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ 2027 ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਮਾਨਸਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਟਿਕਟ ਤੇ ਲੜਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਜਿੱਤਣਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਅਣਪੂਰਾ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਲਈ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਜਤਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਦੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਲੜਨ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਐਲਾਨ ਮਾਨਸਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਵੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਾਇਕ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਲਕੌਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲੜਨ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਨਸਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ 2027 ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਮਾਨਸਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਟਿਕਟ ਤੇ ਲੜਨਗੇ। ਬਲਕੌਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲੜਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਿੱਤਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ। ਕੋਈ ਗਲਤਫਹਿਮੀ ਨਾ ਰੱਖੋ, ਅਸੀਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਨਾਲ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲੜਾਂਗੇ।” ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਵੁਕ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਦਾ ਅਣਪੂਰਾ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ। ਹੁਣ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦੀ ਛਵੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਵੱਲ ਕੂਚ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ। ਅਗਲੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹਾਂ। ਬਲਕੌਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਿਹੱਥੇ ਹਾਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਰਹੋ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।” ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਨੇੜਲੇ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਟਿਕਟ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਲਕੌਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਸੀਟ ਤੋਂ ਚੋਣ ਲੜਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਰਚਾਵਾਂ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਚੋਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੜਨਗੇ। ਇਹ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇਣ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਨੇ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਨਸਾ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲੜੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਡਾ. ਵਿਜੇ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ਨੇ 63,323 ਵੋਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਡਾ. ਵਿਜੇ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਲੱਖ (100023) ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 36,700 ਵੋਟਾਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ। 2021 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਨਵਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯੂਥ ਆਈਕਨ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਬਲਕੌਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਐਲਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਫੈਨ ਬੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਦੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਲੜਨ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਉਠਾਣਗੇ।

He announced on Sunday at a Congress party event in Mansa that he will contest the 2027 assembly elections from the Mansa constituency on a Congress party ticket. I don't need anyone else, I just need your support.” Due to close relations with Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, there is a possibility of him getting the Congress ticket. Earlier, there were discussions about Balkaur Singh contesting from the Bathinda Lok Sabha seat, but he clarified that he will not contest this time. It is noteworthy that Sidhu Moosewala contested the Mansa assembly elections in 2022 but faced defeat. He was defeated by AAP candidate Dr. Vijay Singla by a huge margin of 63,323 votes. Dr. Vijay Singla received more than one lakh (100023) votes, while Sidhu got only 36,700 votes. After Sidhu Moosewala joined the Congress party in 2021, Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu called him a youth icon. This announcement by Balkaur Singh has created a lot of excitement in Punjab politics, especially among the youth and Sidhu Moosewala's huge fan base. He is promising to fight for justice in his son's murder and to strengthen law and order in Punjab.
