ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਹਮਾਇਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ WhatsApp 'ਚ ਬਣਾਈ ਸੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਆਗੂਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ, 2 ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਹਮਾਇਤੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਇੱਕ WhatsApp ਗਰੁੱਪ 'ਚ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਆਗੂਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ 'ਤੇ ਚੈਟ ਲੀਕ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਹ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਮੋਗਾ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਦੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਤੇ UAPA ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਧਾਰਾਵਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। Radio Haanji ਨੇ ਇਸ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਕਵਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਦ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਹਮਾਇਤੀ ਮੰਨੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਇੱਕ WhatsApp ਗਰੁੱਪ 'ਚ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ, ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਰਵਨੀਤ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਆਗੂ ਬਿਕਰਮ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ 'ਤੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ 'ਤੇ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਚੈਟ ਦੇ ਸਕਰੀਨਸ਼ਾਟ ਲੀਕ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੋਇਆ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਏਜੰਸੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਲਚਲ ਮਚ ਗਈ।
'ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਟੀਮ' ਨਾਮਕ WhatsApp ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਕਰੀਬ 600 ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਹਮਾਇਤੀ ਰੁਕਨ ਸਨ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੀ ਮੋਗਾ ਸਾਈਬਰ ਸੈੱਲ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਧਾਰਾਵਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਐਫਆਈਆਰ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ — ਬਲਕਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ (ਨਿਊ ਮਾਡਲ ਟਾਊਨ, ਖੰਨਾ) ਅਤੇ ਪਵਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ (ਖੋਟੇ ਪਿੰਡ, ਮੋਗਾ) ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਤੀਜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਲਖਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ (ਬਠਿੰਡਾ) ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੀ ਪਕੜ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਹੈ।
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ 'ਤੇ IPC ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਰੂਪ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਿਆ ਸੰਹਿਤਾ (BNS) ਦੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਾਵਾਂ 61(2)(a), 113(3), 152, 353, UAPA ਅਤੇ IT ਐਕਟ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ WhatsApp 'ਚ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਚੱਲਾਈਆਂ ਜੋ ਸਿੱਧਾ-ਸਿੱਧਾ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਰੋਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਕਸਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
In a startling development, Punjab Police have arrested two individuals for being part of a WhatsApp group allegedly linked to the jailed MP Amritpal Singh, where plans were reportedly made to attack Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP MP Ravneet Singh Bittu, and Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia. The group, known as "Waris Punjab De Team," had over 600 members and was actively promoting anti-national content.
The arrests followed leaked screenshots from the group's chats that surfaced on social media, triggering concern among national security agencies. The accused were identified as Balkar Singh from Khanna and Pawandeep Singh from Moga. A third suspect, Lakhdeep Singh from Bathinda, remains absconding.
A case has been registered under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code’s updated version — Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), UAPA, and the IT Act. Authorities believe that the conversations in the group were aimed at inciting violence and rebellion.
