‘ਆਪ’ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਦੀ ਨੂੰਹ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ: ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਚੋਰੀ ਦੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ
ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਦੀ ਨੂੰਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਚੋਰੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਕਰਤਾ ਨੇ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ 'ਤੇ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਠੱਗੀ ਮਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਚੋਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਹਾਈ-ਪ੍ਰੋਫਾਈਲ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਲਚਲ ਮਚ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਡੂੰਘਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਤਾਧਾਰੀ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ (AAP) ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਵਾਦਪੂਰਨ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਦੀ ਨੂੰਹ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਚੋਰੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਾਵਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਇੱਕ ਪੀੜਤ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ 'ਤੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਲਗਾਏ ਹਨ।
ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਕਰਤਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਦੀ ਨੂੰਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ (ਕੈਨੇਡਾ/ਅਮਰੀਕਾ) ਭੇਜਣ ਦਾ ਝਾਂਸਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਰਕਮ ਹੜੱਪ ਲਈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਸੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਮੰਗੇ ਗਏ, ਤਾਂ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਧਮਕਾਉਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਗਹਿਣੇ ਵੀ ਚੋਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤੀ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ FIR ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸੱਤਾਧਾਰੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਸਾਵਧਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੁੱਦੇ 'ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ‘ਆਪ’ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਸੱਤਾ ਦੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।
In a major embarrassment for the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab, a criminal case has been registered against the daughter-in-law and several relatives of a party MLA. The Punjab Police filed the FIR following a complaint alleging a high-stakes visa fraud and theft. According to the complainant, the MLA’s daughter-in-law and her maternal family allegedly promised to facilitate a visa for foreign shores (reportedly Canada or the US) in exchange for a large sum of money. However, after the money was paid and no visa was delivered, the accused allegedly refused to return the funds. Furthermore, the complaint includes allegations of theft involving valuable documents and jewelry from a residence.
Police officials have stated that the case was registered after a thorough preliminary inquiry. Given the political sensitivity of the case involving a sitting legislator’s family, the authorities are proceeding with caution but have assured a fair investigation. Meanwhile, opposition parties have seized the opportunity to attack the government, claiming that relatives of AAP leaders are operating with impunity.
