ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਹਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਸਥਿਤ ਗੁਰੂਧਾਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਿੱਖ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਬੇਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣੀ
ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਹਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਟਾਰੀ ਲਾਂਘਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਨੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਸਥਿਤ ਗੁਰੂਧਾਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ 'ਤੇ ਬੇਯਕੀਨੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। SGPC ਨੇ ਲਗਭਗ 350 ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਰਜੀਆਂ ਭੇਜੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਸਾਫ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀ। ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਲਾਂਘਾ ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਅਤਿਵਾਦੀ ਹਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਟਾਰੀ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਨੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਸਥਿਤ ਗੁਰੂਧਾਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਬੇਚੈਨੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮਈ ਅਤੇ ਜੂਨ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਪੁਰਬ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਰਸੀ ਮੌਕੇ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੈਮਾਨੇ ’ਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਜੱਥੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਹੁਣ, ਇਸ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅਣਸ਼ਚਿਤਤਾ ਬਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ (SGPC) ਨੂੰ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਸਾਫ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀ। ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਭਗ 5800 ਸਿੱਖ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਜੱਥਾ ਵਿਸਾਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ।
ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਅਟਾਰੀ ਆਈਸੀਪੀ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਂਘੇ ਨੂੰ 1 ਮਈ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ, ਦੋਨੋਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ-اپنے ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। Radio Haanji ਦੇ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਲਾਂਘਾ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਬੰਦ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ, ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਲਾਂਘਾ ਹੁਣ ਵੀ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
SGPC ਦੇ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਲਗਭਗ 350 ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਰਜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਲਈ ਭੇਜੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਆਸ ਜਤਾਈ ਕਿ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਰਤਾਰਪੁਰ ਲਾਂਘਾ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ, ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂਧਾਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਜੱਥਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ 'ਤੇ ਵੀ ਰੋਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗੇਗੀ।
After the recent terrorist attack in Pehlagam, the Indian government's decision to close the Attari border has caused uncertainty regarding Sikh pilgrimages to Pakistan-based Gurdwaras. Traditionally, Sikh jathas travel to Pakistan in May and June to celebrate the martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji and the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
Currently, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has not received any official communication from either the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs or Pakistani authorities about the upcoming visits. Recently, a group of around 5,800 Sikh pilgrims returned after visiting various Gurdwaras in Pakistan for Baisakhi and Khalsa Sajna Diwas.
As per reports from Haanji Radio and Radio Haanji, the Indian government will completely shut down the Attari ICP and the Wagah border crossing from May 1st. Citizens from both countries have been instructed to return to their respective nations. However, the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor remains open, allowing pilgrims to continue visiting Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib.
SGPC Secretary Pratap Singh mentioned that applications and passports of approximately 350 devotees have already been sent for visa processing. There is hope that just like the Kartarpur Corridor, Sikh pilgrims will be allowed to visit the holy shrines without restrictions.
