ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਬਰਫ਼ਬਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਨਜ਼ਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਸੈਲਾਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਵੱਡੀ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮਨਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਬਰਫ਼ਬਾਰੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਜਨਜੀਵਨ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਅਟਲ ਟਨਲ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਹਤਾਂਗ ਪਾਸ ਦੇ ਨੇੜਲੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਰਫ਼ ਦੀ ਮੋਟੀ ਪਰਤ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਸੈਲਾਨੀ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਥਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਫਸ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਸੜਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਫਿਸਲਣ ਵਧਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਰੁਕ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੈਲਾਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੜਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਠੰਢ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਤਾਂ ਕੱਟਣੀਆਂ ਪੈ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਈ ਮਾਰਗਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸਥਾਨਕ ਹੋਟਲ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਫਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੈਲਾਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਬਰਫ਼ਬਾਰੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਰਾਹਤ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ 24 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਹੋਰ ਬਰਫ਼ਬਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਸੈਲਾਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵੱਲ ਨਾ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਸੈਲਾਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੌਸਮ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਰਫ਼ ਹਟਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਮਸ਼ੀਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਮ 'ਤੇ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਾਰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਲਦ ਤੋਂ ਜਲਦ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਫਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
