ਕੰਬੋਡੀਆਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਨਿਚਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਝੜਪਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 12 ਹੋਰ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਜਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 13 ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਥਾਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 20 ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਆਮ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਸਰਹੱਦੀ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਦਬਾਅ ਵਧ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਗੱਠਜੋੜ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਆਫ ਸਾਊਥਈਸਟ ਏਸ਼ੀਅਨ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਜ਼ (ਆਸ਼ਿਆਨ) ਨੇ ਥਾਈਲੈਂਡ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਬੋਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀਪੂਰਵਕ ਹੱਲ ਲਈ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

The Thailand-Cambodia border clashes continued into their third day, with both nations accusing each other of fresh attacks. The border clashes, ongoing for the past three days, have resulted in at least 33 deaths and displaced over 168,000 people.
Reports of gunfire and artillery fire near several border villages have widened the scope of this Thailand-Cambodia border conflict. On Thursday, a landmine explosion along the border injured five Thai soldiers, triggering the renewed border clashes. Both Cambodian and Thai authorities claimed they acted in self-defense. The two countries have recalled their respective ambassadors, and Thailand has closed its northeastern border crossings with Cambodia.
Cambodian authorities reported on Saturday that 12 additional deaths raised their toll to 13. Thai officials stated that the death toll, including one soldier, reached 20, with most being civilians. Amid this border dispute, international ceasefire pressure is mounting, with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) urging Thailand and Cambodia to find a peaceful resolution.
During an emergency meeting on Friday, the UN Security Council members called for de-escalation and urged a resolution through dialogue. ASEAN was also appealed to mediate a peaceful solution to this border dispute. The 800-kilometer-long border between Thailand and Cambodia has long been contested, and these clashes are part of that historical dispute.
