ਸ਼ੁਭਾਂਸ਼ੂ ਸ਼ੁਕਲਾ ਦਾ Axiom-4 ਪੁਲਾੜ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ 22 ਜੂਨ ਤੱਕ ਟੱਲਿਆ

ਭਾਰਤੀ ਪੁਲਾੜ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਸ਼ੁਭਾਂਸ਼ੂ ਸ਼ੁਕਲਾ ਦਾ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਪੁਲਾੜ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ (ISS) ਲਈ Axiom-4 ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਹੁਣ 22 ਜੂਨ 2025 ਤੱਕ ਮੁਲਤਵੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। Axiom Space ਨੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ, 18 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਰਕਾਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਸਾ ਨੂੰ ISS ਦੇ ਰੂਸੀ ਸੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 29 ਮਈ, 8 ਜੂਨ, 10 ਜੂਨ, 11 ਜੂਨ ਅਤੇ 19 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਲਈ ਤੈਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਵਾਰ ਮੁਲਤਵੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਦੇਰੀ ਦੀ ਵਜ੍ਹਾ ਫਾਲਕਨ 9 ਰਾਕੇਟ ਦੇ ਬੂਸਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਰਲ ਆਕਸੀਜਨ ਦੀ ਲੀਕ ਅਤੇ ISS ਦੇ ਰੂਸੀ ਮਾਡਿਊਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੀਕ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ। Axiom Space ਨੇ ਐਕਸ ’ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੋਸਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ, “Axiom-4 ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਚਾਲਕ ਦਲ ਫਲੋਰੀਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕਾਂਤਵਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਚੰਗੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਲਦੀ ਲਾਂਚ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।”

Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla’s Axiom-4 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) has been postponed to June 22, 2025. Axiom Space announced on Wednesday, June 18, that the delay allows NASA to review the ISS’s operations following recent repairs to the Russian module. The Axiom-4 mission, originally scheduled for May 29, June 8, 10, 11, and June 19, has now been deferred for the fifth time due to technical issues.
The Axiom-4 mission, marking the return of India, Hungary, and Poland to space exploration, was set to launch from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida via SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket. Axiom Space stated, “NASA, Axiom Space, and SpaceX are now preparing for the Axiom-4 mission to the International Space Station on Sunday, June 22.” This commercial space mission is led by Commander Peggy Whitson, with Shubhanshu Shukla serving as mission pilot, alongside Hungary’s Tibor Kapu and Poland’s Sławosz Uznański as mission specialists.
The delays were caused by a liquid oxygen leak in the Falcon 9 rocket’s booster and a leak in the ISS’s aging Russian module. Axiom Space posted on X, “The Axiom-4 mission crew is in quarantine in Florida, adhering to all medical and safety protocols. The crew is in good health and high spirits, anticipating an imminent launch.”
This mission is significant for India’s space program, as Shubhanshu Shukla will become the fourth Indian astronaut to visit the ISS. The Axiom-4 mission will also advance scientific experiments from India, Hungary, and Poland in space exploration.
