ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ 328 ਪਾਵਨ ਸਰੂਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਾਇਬ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਜਾਂਚ ਟੀਮ (SIT) ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਆਡੀਟਰ ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕੋਹਲੀ 'ਤੇ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੇਰਾਫੇਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਖੁਲਾਸੇ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ 328 ਪਾਵਨ ਸਰੂਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗਾਇਬ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਤੂਲ ਫੜ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਜਾਂਚ ਟੀਮ (SIT) ਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਆਡੀਟਰ ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਕੋਹਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੋਹਲੀ 'ਤੇ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਲ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪਾਵਨ ਸਰੂਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਟਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਡਿਟਿੰਗ ਵੇਲੇ ਤੱਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਪਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਬੁੱਝ ਕੇ ਗੜਬੜੀ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਕਾਫੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਜਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਰਚਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਰੋਸ ਹੈ। ਜਾਂਚ ਟੀਮ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੋਹਲੀ ਦੀ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਹ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਰੂਪ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੱਡੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਸੀ। ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ 'ਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਕੋਹਲੀ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਹੋਰ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਲਈ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਹਲਚਲ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪੰਥਕ ਦਰਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਾਵਨ ਸਰੂਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਜਾਂ ਲਾਪਰਵਾਹੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਹਿਰਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸੱਚਾਈ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। SIT ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਚ ਲਈ ਸੱਦ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
The case involving the disappearance of 328 sacred Saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji from the records has taken a significant turn. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the matter has arrested former SGPC auditor SS Kohli. According to police sources, Kohli is accused of concealing facts during the auditing of the Saroop stock and accounts during his tenure and deliberately manipulating the records.
This issue has long been a subject of intense discussion and deep resentment within the Sikh community. The investigation team believes that Kohli's interrogation may reveal where the Saroops were diverted and identify other high-ranking officials involved in the lapse. While the SGPC has previously taken internal action against several employees, this police intervention has once again brought the administrative framework under scrutiny.
Following his arrest, Kohli was produced in court, where the police sought remand for further questioning. This development has accelerated political activity within Panthic circles. Scholars and community leaders emphasize that matters concerning the sanctity of the Saroops are deeply tied to the emotional and spiritual bonding of the Sikhs, making the revelation of the truth imperative. The SIT may summon several other former and current officials for investigation in the coming days.
