ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ 112 ਘਟੀਆ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਕਰੀ ਬੰਦ: ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ. ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੁਕਮ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ CDSCO ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 112 ਘਟੀਆ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਕਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਤੋਂ 'ਤੇ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 11 ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ. ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਮਰੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਰਮੇਸੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੇਚਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਮੂਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਫਲਤਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ 112 ਘਟੀਆ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਕਰੀ 'ਤੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਸੈਂਟਰਲ ਡਰੱਗਜ਼ ਸਟੈਂਡਰਡ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਆਰਗੇਨਾਈਜ਼ੇਸ਼ਨ (CDSCO) ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਟੀਆ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਵਿਕਰੀ ਰੋਕਣ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ. ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ 112 ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਰੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਫਾਰਮੇਸੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਵੇਚੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਤਰਜੀਹ ਹੈ।
ਇਹ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ, ਕੈਂਸਰ, ਸ਼ੂਗਰ, ਹਾਈ ਬਲੱਡ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ਼ਰ, ਦਮਾ, ਇਨਫੈਕਸ਼ਨ, ਦਰਦ, ਸੋਜ, ਅਨੀਮੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਰਗੀ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਕੋਲਡਰਿਫ ਖੰਘ ਦੀ ਦਵਾਈ ਸਮੇਤ ਅੱਠ ਘਟੀਆ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਕਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਤੋਂ 'ਤੇ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਲਗਾਈ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ 20 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ।
ਸਤੰਬਰ 2025 ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਰੀ CDSCO ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜ-ਪੱਧਰੀ 52 ਲੈਬਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਲੈਬਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 52 ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜ-ਪੱਧਰੀ ਲੈਬਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 60 ਨਮੂਨੇ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਮਾਪਦੰਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕੇ। ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਘਟੀਆ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ 49, ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਤੋਂ 16, ਉੱਤਰਾਖੰਡ ਤੋਂ 12, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੋਂ 11 ਅਤੇ ਮੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ 6 ਸਨ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣੀਆਂ 11 ਘਟੀਆ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਮੂਨੇ ਲੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਫਾਰਮਾਸਿਊਟੀਕਲ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੈਚਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। CDSCO ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਯਮਤ ਰੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਘਟੀਆ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਾਈਆਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ।
The Punjab government has imposed a complete ban on the sale of 112 substandard medicines in the state. The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has declared these medicines as substandard. Following this, the health department has immediately issued orders to stop their sale.
Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh has issued a written order clarifying that none of these 112 medicines should be given to any patient. If any of these medicines are being sold in a pharmacy, the health department should be informed immediately. He stated that your health is the top priority of the Punjab government.
These medicines are used for the treatment of serious diseases such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, infections, pain, swelling, anemia, and epilepsy. Just a few days ago, the Punjab government had banned the sale and use of eight substandard medicines, including Coldrif cough syrup, which led to the deaths of over 20 children in Madhya Pradesh.
According to the CDSCO report released in September 2025, drug quality tests were conducted in 52 central and state-level labs across the country. In this, 52 samples failed in central labs and 60 in state-level labs. The highest number of substandard medicines were from Himachal Pradesh with 49, Gujarat with 16, Uttarakhand with 12, Punjab with 11, and Madhya Pradesh with 6.
After taking samples of 11 substandard medicines manufactured in Punjab, notices have been issued to the relevant pharmaceutical companies. The process to remove these batches from the market has been accelerated. CDSCO has expressed serious concern over the quality of medicines across the country and assured that this process will be kept regular so that substandard medicines can be removed from the market.
