ਮੋਗਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਵਾਰ: 90 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਕੁਰਕ
ਮੋਗਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਢੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਮੀ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਦੀ 90 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਕੁਰਕ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਹ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦਾ ਮਕਸਦ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਲੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣਾ ਹੈ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਮਕਸਦ ਨਾਲ ਮੋਗਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਲਗਭਗ 90 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਚੱਲ-ਅਚੱਲ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਫ੍ਰੀਜ਼ (Freeze) ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ NDPS ਐਕਟ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਧਾਰਾਵਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਸੌਦਾਗਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੜਕੰਪ ਮਚਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਹ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕਈ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦਾ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਭੇਜਣਾ ਹੀ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਸ 'ਕਮਾਈ' ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮਾਸੂਮ ਜਿੰਦਗੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਕਰਕੇ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਜਾਇਦਾਦਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਚਿਪਕਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਐਸ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ. ਮੋਗਾ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਦੇਣ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੰਬੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਲਤ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਸ਼ੌਹਰਤ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਸਥਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ।
In a firm move to make Punjab drug-free, the Moga Police today executed a stringent and impactful action against drug traffickers. The police have frozen movable and immovable properties worth approximately Rs 90 lakh, acquired through drug money. This action was taken under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act, causing a major stir among local drug peddlers.
Police officials stated that during the investigation, it was revealed that the accused had accumulated these assets over several years through the illicit drug trade. The police maintain that drug trafficking is not just a crime but a disease that destroys the bonding of thousands of families and claims the lives of young men. Therefore, it is not enough to simply send smugglers to jail; it is equally essential to confiscate the "earnings" built upon the destruction of innocent lives.
As part of this campaign, the police visited various villages and pasted seizure notices on the identified properties. The SSP of Moga has appealed to the public to support the police against drug smugglers to ensure a safe future for the next generation. This action demonstrates that the arms of the law are long and that wealth acquired through illegal means is never permanent.
