ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਚੀਮਾ ਚੌਕ, ਇੰਦਰਾ ਕਲੋਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਤਲੇ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਸਮਾਨ ਖਾਨ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਰੂਦ ਦੇ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਨਾਲ 12 ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਝੁਲਸ ਗਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਰਜਿੰਦਰਾ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਰੈਫਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਐਫਆਈਆਰ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਫੌਰੈਂਸਿਕ ਟੀਮ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਸਬੂਤ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਧਮਾਕੇ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਟੋਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਾਰੂਦ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗਣਾ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਚੀਮਾ ਚੌਕ, ਇੰਦਰਾ ਕਲੋਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਗਭਗ 3 ਵਜੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੇ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਨੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਬਾਰੂਦ ਦੇ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ 12 ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਝੁਲਸ ਗਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਰਜਿੰਦਰਾ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੈਫਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਬਾਕੀ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਹਸਪਤਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਧਮਾਕਾ ਇੱਕ ਤੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਭੀੜ-ਭੜੱਕੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਗਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਹ ਘਰ ਉਸਮਾਨ ਖਾਨ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਦੁਸਹਿਰੇ ਦੇ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਲਈ ਰਾਵਣ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪੁਤਲੇ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਉਸਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਪੁਤਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਬਾਰੂਦ (ਪੋਟਾਸ਼) ਵੱਡੀ ਮਾਤਰਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਟੋਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸੇ ਬਾਰੂਦ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਿਆਤ ਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਵੱਡਾ ਧਮਾਕਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸਵਪਨ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹੀ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਇਰ ਬ੍ਰਿਗੇਡ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈਆਂ। ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਫੌਰੈਂਸਿਕ ਟੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਡੌਗ ਸਕੁਐਡ ਨੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਸਬੂਤ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਉਸਮਾਨ ਖਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਐਫਆਈਆਰ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਸਵਪਨ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਸਹੀ ਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਿਸਥਾਰਤ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਬਾਰੂਦ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਸਟੋਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਵੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

A massive explosion rocked the Chima Chowk area of Indira Colony in Ludhiana around 3 PM, injuring 12 people in a gunpowder blast. Four of the seriously injured were referred to Rajindra Medical Hospital in Patiala, while the others were admitted to local hospitals.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the explosion occurred in a house located in a narrow, crowded lane. The house belongs to Usman Khan, who makes effigies of Ravana and others for the Dussehra festival. According to information, Khan had stored a large quantity of gunpowder (potash) used for effigies in his house, which caught fire for unknown reasons, leading to the massive explosion.
Police Commissioner Swapn Sharma said that police and fire brigade teams reached the spot immediately after receiving information about the blast. The injured were rushed to hospitals. Forensic teams and a dog squad conducted a search at the site and collected evidence. The police have registered an FIR against Usman Khan and related individuals, and the investigation has begun. Sharma stated that a detailed probe is underway to determine the exact cause of the explosion. He added that storing gunpowder illegally in the house is also part of the investigation, and strict action will be taken against those responsible.
The incident has created an atmosphere of fear among the local residents, who say that storing such dangerous materials in residential areas could lead to an even bigger tragedy. The police have appealed to the public to report such activities immediately. This incident has raised serious questions about compliance with safety regulations and the storage of hazardous materials like gunpowder.
