ਸਿਆਸੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਲੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਦੀ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਕਰੇ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ: ਸੁਨੀਲ ਜਾਖੜ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਨੀਲ ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਲੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਚੀਫ ਜਸਟਿਸ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਦੀ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਈਡੀ ਵਰਗੀ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਤੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ। ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਵਧੀ ਦੌਲਤ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਲਗਜ਼ਰੀ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਰਮ ਹਾਊਸ, ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸਰਪ੍ਰਸਤੀ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਸਕੇ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਨੀਲ ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਲੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਚੀਫ ਜਸਟਿਸ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮਾਫੀਆ, ਰੇਤ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਪਰਾਧੀ ਗਰੋਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਕਾਲੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਦੀ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਲਈ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਚੀਫ ਜਸਟਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਚ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਸੌਂਪੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੁਝਾਅ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਐਨਫੋਰਸਮੈਂਟ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟੋਰੇਟ (ਈਡੀ) ਵਰਗੀ ਭਰੋਸੇਯੋਗ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਗਹਿਣੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਲਈ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕਾਂ, ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ, ਪਾਰਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਆਮਦਨ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕੁਝ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਆਗੂ, ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਾਧਾਰਨ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਈਕਲ ’ਤੇ ਸਫਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਅੱਜ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਗਜ਼ਰੀ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਫਾਰਮ ਹਾਊਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬਣ ਗਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਜ਼ਾਹਿਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੀ ਲਾਂਡਰਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਪੈਸਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਆਮਦਨ ਕਰ ਰਿਟਰਨ ਦਾਖਲ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਹ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਉਣਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦੌਲਤ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਆਈ।
ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਛੋਟੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਵਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਨਾ ਕਾਫੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸਰਪ੍ਰਸਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਵੱਡੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ, ਇਹ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਖਤਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਚੀਫ ਜਸਟਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਤਰ ਲਿਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਕਾਲੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ। ਜਾਖੜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਦੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਪਕੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮਾਫੀਆ, ਰੇਤ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਜਾਂ ਖਣਨ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਕੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ।
Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar has demanded a high-level investigation into politicians’ black money, to be overseen by the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court. In a letter to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Jakhar urged that the High Court’s Chief Justice be requested to supervise a probe into the wealth amassed by political leaders through connections with the drug mafia, sand mafia, and other criminal networks. He suggested that a credible agency like the Enforcement Directorate (ED) should conduct a thorough investigation into this black money and potential money laundering activities.
Offering himself for scrutiny, Jakhar called for a detailed probe into the income and assets of Punjab’s MLAs, ministers, party presidents, and other political leaders to uncover how some have transitioned from modest lifestyles to owning luxury cars and sprawling farmhouses. He emphasized that merely filing income tax returns is insufficient; a deeper investigation is needed to trace the sources of this sudden wealth. Jakhar expressed suspicion that the drug mafia’s earnings, possibly linked to money laundering, are reaching influential politicians, highlighting the need to address political patronage.
Jakhar stressed that targeting only small-time drug dealers will not eradicate Punjab’s drug mafia problem, as it thrives under political patronage. He urged the Chief Minister to immediately write to the High Court’s Chief Justice to initiate a comprehensive investigation. Jakhar noted that Punjab is firmly in the grip of various mafias, including the drug mafia, sand mafia, and mining mafia, and insisted that those responsible must face punishment to dismantle these networks.
