ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ 'ਚ ਕੜਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਠੰਢ: ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ 'ਚ ਸੀਤ ਲਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ, ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤੇ ਯੂਪੀ 'ਚ ਵੀ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਪਾਰਾ
ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੰਢ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਫੜ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਸੀਤ ਲਹਿਰ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਸਮੇਤ ਗੁਆਂਢੀ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਡਿੱਗ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ
ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੜਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਠੰਢ ਨੇ ਦਸਤਕ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਤ ਲਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਇੰਨਾ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਰਾ ਸਿਫ਼ਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਹਾੜੀ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਬਰਫ਼ਬਾਰੀ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਅਸਰ ਮੈਦਾਨੀ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ (UP) ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਠੰਢ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਰਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੰਢ ਹੋਰ ਵਧਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵੇਰ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਦੇਖੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ 'ਤੇ ਵੀ ਅਸਰ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੀਤ ਲਹਿਰ ਕਾਰਨ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਗਿਰਾਵਟ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਮੌਸਮ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਲਈ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਪੂਰਨ ਹੈ, ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਸੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ ਸਾਂਝ ਹੁਣ ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਸੇਕ ਅਤੇ ਗਰਮ ਚਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੁਸਕੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਰਹਿਣ ਅਤੇ ਗਰਮ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਹਿਨਣ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਬੇਘਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੈਣ ਬਸੇਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਕੜਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਠੰਢ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਜੰਮੂ-ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਈਪਾਂ ਜੰਮਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਬਰਾਂ ਵੀ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
Severe cold has knocked on the doors of several parts of North India. The impact of the cold wave in Jammu and Kashmir is so intense that the mercury has plunged below zero in many areas. The direct effect of snowfall in the hilly regions is being witnessed in the plains, forcing people in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh (UP) to stay indoors due to the chill.
According to the Meteorological Department, the cold is expected to intensify in the coming days. Dense fog is being observed in Delhi during the morning hours, affecting transportation. A significant drop in temperature has also been recorded in Uttar Pradesh due to the cold wave. While this weather is challenging for children and the elderly, the emotional bonding and social connection of the people are now gathering around the warmth of fires and sips of hot tea.
The administration has advised people to remain cautious and wear warm clothes. Arrangements are being made in night shelters for the homeless to protect them from this biting cold. Reports of frozen water pipes are also emerging from parts of Jammu and Kashmir, causing difficulties for the residents.
