ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ: ਮੇਰੀ ਪੇਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟੀਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰਣ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪੱਤਰ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟੀਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚਾਈ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਸੁਣ ਸਕੇ। ਇਹ ਅਪੀਲ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਈ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖ ਮਸਲਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟੀਕਰਨ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਸਕੱਤਰੇਤ ਵਿਖੇ ਤਲਬ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਲਬ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਹਿਮ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਰਘਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪੱਤਰ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਕੱਤਰੇਤ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟੀਕਰਨ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਸਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰਣ (Live Telecast) ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ਤਾ ਬਣੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ ਸਾਂਝ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਚਿੱਠੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਰਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੱਖ ਪੂਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਜਾਨਣ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੱਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੱਚਾਈ ਕੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਲਤਫ਼ਹਿਮੀ ਦੀ ਗੁੰਜਾਇਸ਼ ਨਾ ਰਹੇ। ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਮੰਗ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਉੱਠੀ ਹੈ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਸਰਵਉੱਚਤਾ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਮਾਣੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹਨ। ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਮੰਗ 'ਤੇ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਕੋਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੰਥਕ ਮਾਹਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਅਕਸਰ ਬੰਦ ਕਮਰਾ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਅਪੀਲ ਨੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਛੇੜ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਬੇਸਬਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਦੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਕਦਮ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Following the summons from Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has taken a significant initiative. He has written a letter to Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh requesting that when he presents his clarification at the Secretariat of Akal Takht Sahib, the entire process should be telecast live. The Chief Minister believes that this will maintain transparency and further strengthen his emotional bond with the community.
In his letter, Bhagwant Mann argued that he wishes to present his side regarding the allegations before the entire world. He stated that the Sikh community has every right to know the truth so that no room for misunderstanding remains. This matter is considered highly sensitive in religious and political circles, as it is the first time a Chief Minister has made such a demand.
The Chief Minister added that he fully respects the supremacy of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and is ready to appear as a humble Sikh. No official decision has been taken by the Jathedar on this demand yet. According to Panthic experts, traditional proceedings at Akal Takht Sahib often take place in closed-door meetings; therefore, the Chief Minister’s appeal has sparked a new political debate. The community is now eagerly waiting for the Jathedar’s next move.
