ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਨੇ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਐਂਟਿਟੀ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ
ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਨੇ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਐਂਟਿਟੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਮਦਦ ਨੂੰ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਸ਼ਿਕੰਜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਲਾਰੈਂਸ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਦੇ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਕਤਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਿੰਸਕ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਰਐਸੀਐਮਪੀ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਏ ਹਨ, ਜਦਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਤੇ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਸ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਜ਼ਬਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਂਕ ਖਾਤੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।
ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਐਂਟਿਟੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਐਲਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਕਾਇਦਿਆਂ ਅਧੀਨ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਮੁੱਖ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਕੰਜ਼ਰਵੇਟਿਵ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਐਨਡੀਪੀ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਹੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਥਿਤ ਫ਼ੋਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅਪਰਾਧੀ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲਾਰੈਂਸ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਦੇ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਮਦਦ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਹੁਣ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਸ਼ਿਕੰਜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਸਕਣਗੇ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੀ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਆਰਐਸੀਐਮਪੀ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਏ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ ਕਈ ਕਤਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਿੰਸਕ ਕਾਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਕਥਿਤ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਖੁਫ਼ੀਆ ਏਜੰਸੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ਼ਾਰੇ 'ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਰੱਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਐਂਟਿਟੀ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਇਸ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੈਂਕ ਖਾਤੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਤੇ ਅਦਾਲਤਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਪਰਾਧੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਕਾਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਧੀਨ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਜਾਣਨ ਲਾਇਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ ਕਈ ਕਤਲਾਂ, ਫਿਰੌਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਹਿੰਸਕ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਲਾਰੈਂਸ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨੇ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੇਅਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਵਧ ਰਹੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਐਂਟਿਟੀ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਸ਼ਨੋਈ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਮਦਦ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਸ਼ਿਕੰਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
