ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਾਮਲੇ 'ਤੇ AAP ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰਿਆ: ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਲਈ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ
ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੇਅਰਹਾਊਸਿੰਗ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਡੀ.ਐਮ. ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਦੀ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਤਿੱਖਾ ਹਮਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਦਬਾਅ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਇੱਕ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਗੁਆਉਣੀ ਪਈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਸੀ.ਬੀ.ਆਈ. (CBI) ਜਾਂਚ ਅਤੇ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਤਲ ਦਾ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਟੇਟ ਵੇਅਰਹਾਊਸਿੰਗ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਮੈਨੇਜਰ (DM) ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਨੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ਹਿਰੀਲੀ ਵਸਤੂ ਨਿਗਲ ਕੇ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਕਰ ਲਈ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਮੋਗਾ ਵਿਖੇ ‘ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬਚਾਓ’ ਰੈਲੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਰੜੇ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਲਿਆ।
ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਵਰਗੇ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ 'ਧੱਕੇਸ਼ਾਹੀ' ਅਤੇ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ 'ਤੇ ਟੈਂਡਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦਬਾਅ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ 'ਤੇ ਬੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਜ਼ਲੀਲ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਾ ਅਸਤੀਫ਼ਾ ਲੈ ਲੈਣ ਨਾਲ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ?
ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਡਰ ਅਤੇ ਦਬਾਅ ਹੇਠ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਲਟ ਕੰਮ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਸੀ.ਬੀ.ਆਈ. ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ, ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੈਠਣਗੇ।
A political storm has erupted in Punjab following the suicide of Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, District Manager (DM) of the Punjab State Warehousing Corporation in Amritsar. Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal launched a scathing attack on the Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government during a ‘Punjab Bachao’ rally in Moga.
Badal claimed that honest officers like Randhawa are falling prey to the government's ‘high-handedness’ and corruption. He alleged that a cabinet minister was pressuring the official to perform illegal acts concerning tenders and that the officer was even humiliated at the minister's residence. Sukhbir Badal questioned whether merely accepting a minister's resignation would suffice to bring justice to the grieving family.
The SAD president further stated that government officials in the state are currently working under extreme fear and pressure. According to him, officers who refuse to bypass rules are being targeted. Badal demanded that the suicide case be handed over to the CBI to clearly define the role of the minister and his associates. He warned that SAD stands firmly with the family and will not rest until strict legal action is taken against the culprits.
