ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਲਾਠੀਚਾਰਜ: ਰਾਮ ਤੀਰਥ ਰੋਡ 'ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ 35 ਕਿਸਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਮ ਤੀਰਥ ਰੋਡ 'ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਹੇਠ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਾਠੀਚਾਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਰੀਬ 35 ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਕਿਸਾਨ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਗੁਰੂ ਨਗਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਤਣਾਅ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਸਿਖਰ 'ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਰਾਮ ਤੀਰਥ ਰੋਡ 'ਤੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਧਰਨਾ ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਲਾਠੀਚਾਰਜ ਨੇ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਨੂੰ ਗਰਮਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੜਕ ਜਾਮ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਮਈ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਸਤਾ ਖਾਲੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਸਿਰੇ ਨਾ ਚੜ੍ਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਲਈ ਬਲ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਈ। ਇਸ ਲਾਠੀਚਾਰਜ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਈ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਮੂਲੀ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਵੀ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ 35 ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਹੀ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਥਾਣਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ, ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਇਜ਼ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਸੁਣਨ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
Tensions between farmers and the administration have reached a breaking point in Amritsar. A police lathi charge on farmers protesting for various demands on Ram Tirath Road has intensified the local atmosphere. According to reports, the farmers had blocked the road in support of their demands, which led to a complete disruption of traffic.
Police officials stated that they had appealed to the farmers to clear the path peacefully, but when negotiations failed, they had to resort to force to manage the situation. Several farmers reportedly sustained minor injuries during the lathi charge. In the subsequent action, police detained 35 farmers at the scene and transferred them to various police stations.
On the other hand, farmer leaders have alleged that instead of listening to their legitimate demands, the government is attempting to suppress their voice through police force. They warned that if the detained farmers are not released immediately, the struggle will be intensified, and protests will be organized across the entire district.
