ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਖ਼ਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਬੰਦ ਕਰੇ: ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਖ਼ਲ ਨਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਥਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਕਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਦਖ਼ਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਬਰਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੀਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਮਰਿਆਦਾ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ
ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਵਉੱਚ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤਾਂ, ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇੱਕ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਰੁਖ਼ ਅਖਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਖ਼ਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਈ ਇੱਕ ਅਹਿਮ ਇਕੱਤਰਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਾਰੀ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੰਥਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਕਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਮੰਦਭਾਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਿਆਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਰਵਾਇਤਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚੱਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਕਿ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੁਕਸ ਕੱਢਣਾ ਜਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਦਖ਼ਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਖ ਹਿਰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੇਸ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਕੌਮ ਦੀ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਨ ਦੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਜਾਪਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਕੌਮ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਥਕ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਜੁੱਟ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਵੱਈਆ ਨਾ ਬਦਲਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਰੇਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਲਾਹੇ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋੜਵਾਂ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
The supreme personalities of the Sikh community, the Singh Sahiban, have taken a firm stand against the Punjab government, making it clear that the government must cease interfering in the internal and religious affairs of the Sikhs. In a statement issued after a crucial meeting at Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the Singh Sahiban noted that recent attempts by the government to influence the functioning of Panthic institutions are highly unfortunate.
The Singh Sahiban specifically emphasized that Sikh institutions operate according to their unique code of conduct (Maryada) and historical traditions. The role of the government is to maintain the law and order of the state, not to find faults in religious management or attempt to run them according to their own agenda. They stated that such interference hurts Sikh sentiments and appears to be a conspiracy to break the internal bonding of the community.
During this session, the Singh Sahiban called upon the entire community and Panthic organizations to remain united. They warned that if the government does not change its attitude, the Sikh community will not hesitate to take major steps to preserve the independence of its institutions. They also clarified that elements attempting to gain political mileage within religious institutions would receive a befitting reply.
