ਦਿੱਲੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਨੂੰ 30 ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਫਰਲੋਅ
ਡੇਰਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਸੌਦਾ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਨੂੰ 30 ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਉਸਦੀ 12ਵੀਂ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਹੈ। ਉਸਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਸਾਧਵੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਬਰ-ਜਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੇਠ 20 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ 'ਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਦੋਹਰੀ ਨੀਤੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਡੇਰਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਸੌਦਾ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਫਰਲੋਅ ਦੀ ਮਿਆਦ ਮਿਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 30 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਦੋ ਸਾਧਵੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਬਰ-ਜਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੀ ਰੋਹਤਕ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ 20 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਕੱਟ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਚਾਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੀ 12ਵੀਂ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਹੈ। ਉਸਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਗਭਗ ਇੱਕ ਹਫ਼ਤਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਹ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ। ਡੇਰਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਸੁਨਾਰੀਆ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਅਗਸਤ 2017 ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਸਾਧਵੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਬਰ-ਜਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਸੁਣਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਸਾ ਡੇਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਦਸ ਦਿਨ ਠਹਿਰੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਬਾਗਪਤ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਬਰਨਾਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਉਸਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਫਰਲੋਅ 5 ਫਰਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਪਿਛਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਉਸਨੂੰ 20 ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ 5 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚਾਰ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਅਗਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ 21 ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਫਰਲੋਅ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ।
ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ (ਐਸਜੀਪੀਸੀ) ਨੇ ਡੇਰਾ ਸਿਰਸਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਦੇਣ 'ਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਐਸਜੀਪੀਸੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਮੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਦੋਹਰੀ ਨੀਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਫਾਇਦੇ ਲਈ ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੇਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਦ ਬੰਦੀ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ। ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਧਾਮੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਲਾਭ ਲਈ ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਦੇ ਘਿਨਾਉਣੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim has been granted parole once again, this time for 30 days. He is currently serving a 20-year sentence in Rohtak's Sunaria Jail, Haryana, for the rape of two female followers. This marks his 12th parole in the last four years. The parole has been granted just a week before the Delhi Assembly elections and ahead of the Haryana municipal elections. Ram Rahim was released from Sunaria Jail under tight security.
After being convicted in August 2017 for raping two female devotees, this is the first time he has been allowed to visit the Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters in Sirsa, where he will stay for ten days. Following this, he will reside in Barnawa, located in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat district. The parole has been granted just days before the Delhi elections scheduled for February 5. Last year, he was granted 20 days of parole on October 5, just four days before the Haryana Assembly elections. Prior to that, the Haryana government had granted him 21 days of parole in August last year.
The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has strongly opposed the parole granted to Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim. SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami stated that this decision reflects the government's double standards. He said that Ram Rahim is being repeatedly granted parole for political gains, while Bandi Singhs, who have completed their sentences, remain imprisoned in various jails across the country. Advocate Dhami accused the BJP government of ignoring Ram Rahim's heinous crimes for political benefits.
